You are extremely underestimating the power of the eighth gate. It is the most powerful form of any character we've seen. Even beyond ten tails madara. Only reason madara survived was cause of his immense juubi stamina. Sasuke has no chances in putting up any fight against eight gates. I guarantee you it has the power to make perfect susanoo's armor look like paper.
