That Lee's kick cannot be dodged by anyone. Lee has extreme speed and this was hugely enhanced by Kurama's chakra. It was way too fast and powerful.That's why even Madara was shocked

First of all, Gaara didn't "wreck" Lee. Gaara BARELY defeated him, only managing to do so thanks to one blink which lasted for a fraction of a second. If you call it wrecking, something is wrong with you. Also, do I need to remind you that Lee was the first person every who managed to hurt Gaara at all? Not only that, he was close to defeating him. Give credit where credit is due.

Against Kimimaro - are you really that surprised that sick Lee who escaped from hospital was defeated by the guy stronger than Sound Four together? Even in this condition, Lee STILL gave Kimimaro quite a fight.

Gai defeated Kisame twice. Even if the first time was a version of Kisame having 30% of his chakra, he STILL didn't manage to use it all up before he got his ass handed. Don't cry that Guy used a technique which was the best counter against Kisame, that's pathetic. It's part of his arsenal, so what's the problem?

Gaara was going to kill Lee when Lee was already defeated. Doesn't change the fact that it was a fraction of a second that decided who would be the winner.

Hitting someone of Kimimaro's level in Lee's condition and age was a huge accomplishment already.

U said it, Kurama's Chakra, it's not that Lee can beat anyone at non fodder level in Taijutsu battle.

This thread makes little sense. Lee and Gai do not add any ninjutsu to their taijutsu so if you took away everyone's ninjutsu and kekkei genkai then Gai and Lee would definitely be the best.

Gai uses other stuff a LITTLE, but very little. His only non-taijutsu feats we've seen so far was kuchiyose and dispelling genjutsu.

I fail to understand why you continue to use the fact Lee lost to stronger shinobi as a reason for him to be horrible at Taijutsu.


Yeah..people have wounded Gaara...it's plot progression. However, during part I there wasn't a single Genin that was touching Gaara other than Lee at the time of the exams. Recall Sasuke had to take his speed to get a hit. It was also specifically noted that had Gaara impacted on his face or something other than his gourd....he'd probably have lost.

Kimmimaru was serious, but he couldn't predict Lee's moves, it took a massive spam of ribcage to snap Lee out of Drunken Fist.



REGARSLESS THIS PROVES THWIR TAIJUTSU.

Gaara HAD to use his sand NINJUTSU and won due to Lee choosing to hit him on hos gourd.

Kimmimaru HAD to create massive bone spikes out of his body to scratch Lee and thus wake him up.



They couldn't use PURE TAIJUTSU to win so once again this only strengthens the fact that they are the best. Kimmimaru and Gaara are stronger shinobi BECAUSE they use more than just Taijutsu...that doesn't mean Lee and Gai are worse at Taijutsu because they choose NOT to use ninjutsu :/

NO :'(......Lee and Gai have access to the Gates....they are not fodder.


Fodder is sending White Zetsu in open combat....especially since he's real Shinobi (AKA: Stealth type).
