I thought I saw a bad casting choice… I DID! I did see a bad casting choice!
We all remember the greatness that is Space Jam: looney tunes, basketball, Michael Jordan, Bill Murray… Newman; I mean what’s not to love about a film like that? Wouldn’t you just love a sequel to that? Well, it seems that Warner Bros. has greenlit the picture and has even cast their lead role!

Deadline confirms that Charlie Ebersol, son of veteran broadcaster Don Ebersol, will produce and pen the script for the upcoming cartoon sequel. Deadline also goes on to confirm that LeBron James will star as the lead character.
