It was a quiet night. It was THE night I should say, finally. They told me to me him here, presumably he would arrive shortly. I was growing restless, I wish he would just hurry up and arrive. I had done a lot of research on our clan, but I still did not know much. Just then, I hear a small rustling. I turn my head slightly to the right, seeing a strange person waiting for me.

"Are you the one who will be training me...?"

Ok, our clan was founded in the time of the Sage of Six Paths. He sealed the Juubi away, but some of it's chakra was still left behind. Our ancestor was able to channel this dark chakra (Called Keigoku) through his body. He aquired the mark of the demon as a result.

Keigoku is very strange chakra. It's not like normal Bijuu chakra, it causes a lot of mental agony to someone if it touches him. This foul chakra makes it impossible for someone to insert chakra into us. Consequently that makes us immune to genjutsu, the jyuuken, and med ninja have to use much more chakra when treating us. We channel this chakra through portals, that transport this chakra. These portals can be created freeform, but only Keigoku can go through them.

The Nekura also get a cloak that is a different color based on our rank, it makes us immune to ninja tools and sword slashes but can still be broken by a jutsu. Experienced Nekura get to use a powerful technique called the drain. They can use it to heal their own wounds using an opponent's chakra.

That honestly is all I know about the Nekura without looking stuff up.

Wallie it is. U_U

When the SO6P fought the Jyuubi, the battle waged on years and years and the foul chakra the Jyuubi exorted was so great that it scarred the earth, so dangerous that it was almost living, hoping to find someone to live off of in exchange for power. It latched itself onto Anshoku, burning the clan's symbol of Demon on his palm, the same very symbol you have on the inside of yours. Trying to get back closer to it's orginial master, it traversed back to the moon, where the Jyuubi was sealed. However that symbol on Anshoku's hand allowed him to summon this chakra through the use of portals.

As for the abilities, I'll going to post a section of them and explain each to ensure you got it.

"The abilities of the Nekura center on the summoning and control of this foul chakra of the Juubi's, that the clan calls "Keigoku". The chakra is warped from the moon by a clansman opening the dimesional portal, through which the chakra enters the battlefield. This is much like a Summoning jutsu, which brings objects from a different place through dimensions. The portals can be opened anywhere on the battlefield. However, note that they cannot be used for transporting the user, opponent etc. over dimensions. Only Keigoku can transport itself through the portals. The portals are silent and do not actually count as a jutsu, however the release of a Keigoku technique from them is a jutsu; furthermore, it's not as if the portals possess any use outside of transporting Keigoku anyway.

Essentially the main ability of the clan, we access this chakra we called Keigoku through the use of portals we open up. Think of it as a s/t hallway of sorts, one door is open on the moon, where the chakra of the Jyuubi travels through and another portal is open somewhere on the battlefield, in short wherever you choice to open it. We can only send Keigoku through these portals, nothing else. Opening a portal doesn't count as a move but seeing as to merely opening a portal does nothing and doesn't prevent a jutsu from hitting you, you can see it as completely useless unless you channel chakra through it in the form of a jutsu.

The power of the Keigoku, however, is not to directly affect physical objects. The Keigoku is so corrupted, that it causes searing pain to an opponent's mind if they have been touched with the energy. Much like how prolonged exposure to a fire can cause extreme burns, prolonged exposure to high-rank Keigoku techniques can cause a complete shattering of the mind and possibly a vegetative state. This also lets the Keigoku pass through physical substances without minds, such as earth, water or trees to reach a target behind it, since it loses none of its powers on the non-sentient object. Should the Keigoku touch a Summoning, it will turn them against its master

The Keigoku doesn't do any physical harm to a foe. Well, that's to say it doesn't affect the opponent's physical being. The Keigoku is a chakra so foul, so corrupt, that it rots away a foe's conscious and mind. Once contact has been made with a foe, even the slightest of brush against exposed skin, causes great agony upon their brains and mind, taken the concept of mental torture further than genjutsu can take it. Prolonged exposure can cause great damage to their brain, leaving the foe in a comatose like state until they receive training. Because it focuses on the actual conscious and soul of an object, it is able to pass through solid material, such as trees, buildings, waves, etc. However that all depends on the rank and experience of the user. A seer's Keigoku is unable to even pass through a door while the Clan Head on the opposite end of the spectrum can send his keigoku through something as large as a mountain range, depending on the rank of the jutsu used. If the Keigoku touches the mind of a summoning, it causes the mind to go through great pain, not enough to disburse, but enough to corrupt the mind, turning it against it's master, making it a temporary ally as long as it's on the field, depending on the rank of the technique.

Skilled users of Keigoku have been rumored to shift its focus from merely shattering minds to bending them or manipulating them with even direct eye contact initiating a transfer of Keigoku between people. However, this can only be done by extremely high-level Nekura and requires special training from the Clan Head. Similarly, skilled Nekura above a certain rank possess one of the most useful powers. The Drain. Once one of their Keigoku attacks have connected with the opponent, istead of letting their Keigoku dissipate, the Nekura bring the Keigoku back to them and pour the stolen strength from the opponent's mind into theirs. This firms up their mind, and even if they have injuries makes their mind pretend it isn't there and force the body to function as it normall would. Since this isn't really a cure, after the battle the Nekura will feel their injuries again plus an extra 25 damage points due to the strain of forcing their body. As many damage points as the opponent is hit with, that many damage points the user may force their mind to believe it isn't affecting their body.

Two of the strongest techniques of the clan, the Evil Eye transfers Keigoku directly to the face of the foe, causing intense pain near instantly. The Drain does exactly what the name says, drains the target of chakra and brings it back to themselves, powering them more and allows you to fight longer despite injuries you might have sustained. Of course, these jutsus are advanced and only the Cla Council and up can learn the Evil Eye and Possibly Black Knight and higher for The Drain, I'm not sure atm.

Another side-effect of wielding the Keigoku is that any Bijuu, whether incompletely or fully transformed, believe the Nekura to be one of "them" since the Nekura wield the same chakra that the Bijuu were made of - just not in the same amounts. The Bijuu therefore refuse to attack the Nekura. Each Nekura is given a cloak strong enough to keep out normal weapons strikes. An unwanted ability is that of the Nekura's bodies, after or during a battle, being so filled with Keigoku that they reject any foreign chakra from entering their body, and stop it instantly. This means that medical ninjutsu have to force harder to overcome the natural resistance, making Nekura extremely hard to heal, roughly three times that of a normal patient.

Due to the Jyuubi's chakra, the Keigoku, always surging through off, it makes it impossible to inject any form of foreign chakra inside of us, including Sage Mode, Curse Marks, Genjutsu, Jyuken, Kiyoshi and other techniques/abilities that might inject chakra in you (however attacks that use chakra as brute strength still work). It is due to this same chakra that Bijuu are unwilling to attack us, even in their incomplete forms. They associate our chakra with that of the Jyuubi, believeing us to be one of them. The Jinchuriki can attack us but his Bijuu will be unwilling. However, we can be healed after battles, once our body is worned down and defenses are lowered. They'll have to work 3 times as hard, likely using higher ranked jutsus to heal small wounds. Luckily, we have a very special cloak, that blocks most weapon strikes, including kunais and shuriken.

Read it, learn it, study it. Any questions?

Yeah, some questions. Are the portals visible to the naked eye? Likewise, is Keigoku visible? I ask because I want to know if my opponent would be able to counter based on sight.

Is Keigoku tangible? Like can it be held in your hand?

The portals are visible yes. Silent, but visible. Keigoku appears similar to normal chakra, just with a denser and darker color so yes, you can also see it. It is, however, not tangible. Most chakra itself isn't tangible. Meaning, if someone channels chakra around them, you can't grab the chakra itself. There is only one Keigoku natured attack that has a physical form though, and it is a personal custom of mine.

Anymore questions?

Now then. Every Nekura has a different method, so you'll have to work out what yours is. We've already had insane laughter, ruthless ambition, and violent bloodshed. Try to feel the connection the cursed chakra has with you in your body. You do this by different methods; some Nekura feel this initially only when they have particularly viciously killed someone, myself being one of them; but everyone has their own methods to establish contact.

Hmm insane laughter sounds cool...but how about baleful vindictiveness.

-As I concentrate deep within myself, I picture the foul chakra. I continue to picture it, and soon I find myself utterly hating everything. I want to destroy everything, but for that I'll need power. The way to get power....yes through my clan's abilites. I then begin to feel a strange feeling deep in my body, as if something has answered my plea for power. Yes, there was definately something, I wasn't dreaming this.-

What is this?!?

Its the feeling of belonging to a badass clan. U_U The Keigoku as you can see, the chakra that is emitted from this portal, is very dangerous, capable of causing near immediate incapacitation upon contact. As it stands, it doesn't have much use merely flowing in front of you, it'd be more useful if it could be sent outwards towards a foe from a distance, correct? I want you to open a portal and channel Keigoku through it and mold it into the shape of a small ball and cause it to travel forward, passing through that small tree there.

*points ahead*

Yes more useful indeed :snick:

-I concentrate hard within myself, and concentrate. I cause a small portal to open a few feet away from the tree. I then concentrate again, and that same insanity. I cause the strange power to flow from the portal into the tree, and through it. Soon enough, the chakra does just that.-

-I concentrate some fire chakra, and expel it in the form of a fireball jutsu. As it is launched, I focus on my keigoku and summon a portal directly in front of the fireball. Next, I focus on that same insanity and allow a small dose of keigoku to leak into the fireball. I aim it at a nearby tree.-

( Nekura Ichizoku Hijutsu: Zokugie ) - Nekura Clan Secret Technique: Unholy Conversion
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Self
Chakra: 30 (+10 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description:
Once the Nekura casts this technique, it generates a small portal in front of him. From then onwards, whenever he shoots out a technique from him or from in front of him, a little Keigoku goes from the portal into the technique ( i.e., if he uses a fireball, a sphere of Keigoku, tennis-ball sized hides inside the fireball, and attacks the opponent as well when the fire hits him, or even if the fire is blocked, it needs to be blocked as well ). However, it does not work when techniques are being cast that come from other directions ( such as spikes from under the opponent, or wind from the sky ) as the portal is not near them.
Since the amount of Keigoku used is small per technique, it only gives the opponent a headache and makes him lose concentration for a few seconds if it hits, however the effects stack- i.e, if the first time he loses conentration for two seconds, the next time his already weak mind loses focus for four, then six, and so on.
No Forbidden-rank Nekura techniques may be used while this is active.

List all advantages, disadvantages, and strategies you can think of to use with this. And if you have any questions about this jutsu, now is a good time to ask.

And this officially makes you Paladin ranked.

So when you say the effect is stacked, that means every time the opponent is hit with keigoku the effects of keigoku are increased. Correct? Does that extend to other Nekura techniques?

Would the keigoku be visible inside the specific technique? Let's say a fireball jutsu. If not, would dojutsu users see it?

Can I do the combo after you answer those questions? It would be easier :3

Yes, and in theory, being struck with several Nekura attacks will leave a foe comatose if done over a short period of time. O_O

And well, being a ball of dark purple chakra, it will be visible in some water and wind jutsus. Doujutsu and sensors will always be able to see the Keigoku inside though.

Advantages:

  • Can be hidden inside jutsu
  • Causes extra damage if the jutsu hits
  • Opponent must defend from Keigoku and the original jutsu
  • If it hits, causes the effects of Keigoku exposure
  • Effects stack

Disadvantages:

  • Does not work when techniques are being cast from other directions
  • Keigoku used is small per technique
  • No Forbidden rank Nekura jutsu while this is active
  • Takes up 10 chakra a turn

Combos and strategies:

I would use this with an attack that shoots out multiple projectiles. A good example of this would be the phoenix flower jutsu. It shoots out several projectiles, or my own Super Scatter shot jutsu. Since the opponent would also need to block the keigoku in addition to the jutsu, it would prove very versatile.

Example of a combo:

-I concentrate deep within myself. As I concentrate deep within myself, I picture the foul chakra. I continue to picture it, and soon I find myself utterly hating everything. I let my Havok persona out, and he yells with glee. He is raring to go, he wants to destroy it all! Suddenly, I summon a portal directly in front of me.-

( Nekura Ichizoku Hijutsu: Zokugie ) - Nekura Clan Secret Technique: Unholy Conversion
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Self
Chakra: 30 (+10 per turn)

No Forbidden-rank Nekura techniques may be used while this is active.

-After that, I concentrate my lightning chakra. I focus the raiton chakra, into my hands. I then shoot out several blasts of compressed raiton chakra. They pass through the portal, and they are filled with the physical embodiment of my hatred. I use my chakra control, to suspend the spheres of raiton in the air completely surrounding you. They hover over you, menacing. They then begin to rapidly spin, making it almost impossible to dodge. Suddenly, I cause them all to rain down. They cause an explosion and a bright flash of light. I begin laughing slowly, and slowly build up to a maniacal and sadistic laughter. Reveling in my own destruction.-

(Raiton: Kakusan Yūdō Kikoha) Lightning Release: Super Scatter Shot
Type:Offense
Rank:A
Range:Short-Long
Chakra:30
Damage:60
Description: The user charges up lightning chakra, and fires several energy spheres randomly in the opponent's direction. Disregarding accuracy and with no intent on actually hitting the enemy. With efficient chakra control, the multiple energy spheres are suspended in the air, completely surrounding them. Finally, the user causes them to rapidly spin around the opponent and inevitably rain down on them, filling the sky with a blinding light and inflicting a massive amount of damage.

-Restrictions-

-Can only be taught by PB-
-Can only be used twice per battle-
-No lightning jutsu in the same turn-

( Bakudō no Shichijūkyū: Kuyō Shibari ) - Way of Binding Number Seventy Nine: Nine Sunlight Traps
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description:
The user makes four handseals, causing eight small portals to emerge on all sides around the opponent, a metre away. Keigoku flows from these portals, before forming itself into a multitude of ropes, that seek to ensnare the target. If they are successful in capturing the target and immobilizing him, a ninth portal opens up a few inches in front of his torso, and completes the binding, restricting the opponent from all motion. If the opponent however, avoids being caught in the ropes from the first eight portals, nothing occurs. Upon being bound, the opponent takes 30 damage due to being in contact with Keigoku, and gets a searing headache that disrupts his concentration.
This technique may be used only thrice per battle.
No Nekura techniques above A-rank may be used during the same turn and the next turn.

This is a basic technique. You open 8 portals all around your opponent that shoot out keigoku ropes and ensnare the opponent and then a 9th opens in the middle once the binding is complete and completes the binding. the portals open really close to the opponent.
