Shikotsumyaku, literally meaning "Dead Bone Pulse" is the Kekkei Genkai of the extinct Kaguya clan, which gave them the ability to manipulate their own skeletal structure. By infusing their calcium with chakra, they can manipulate the growth and properties of their bones by will. The ability seems to be rare amongst the clan members, as Kimimaro was the only one known to exhibit it out of his entire clan.
- Capable of manipulating their bones' growth up to a point to even create weapons of bones from their own body and firing pieces of their bones as long-ranged projectiles.
- Regeneration of the bones they remove themselves and skin regeneration caused by this same removal. Ability to regenerate small to moderate damage to bones and skin. Small cuts, broken bones and related none threatening injuries can be regenerated over the course of multiple turns. This does not include damage sustained from Fire or Lightning attacks or damage from high temperature attacks.
- Immunity to basic non Elemental Taijutsu up to B rank and C rank non elemental NB Taijutsu. The user also gains a small immunity to matter based attacks up to C rank. This involves Earth, Water, and some Wind release attacks. This means the user tanks damage done directly by these attacks but not residual effects, such as drowning, decapitation, limbs removed, etc. This also does not include Energy based attacks.
- Ability to increase the density of the created bones, making them stronger than steel. This not only makes the created weapons very powerful, but also makes their bodies virtually indestructible.
- Inability to use Pain based releases to release Genjutsu. Due to heavy training in the painful release of bones, they have gained an immunity towards using pain to break Illusions.
It's short ranged because it doesn't each further than am arm's length from your body outwards. So yeah, it's pretty much around 2-3 feet in length only. But naturally you can extend it's reach by throwing it or using it in combination with other long ranged jutsu if possible.Guts raises his palm upwards, having its height level with his chin, and willing his skeleton to create a bone that stabs through the base of his palm. The pain wasn't as severe as the broken bone, but it still made him wince due to his inexperience.
OOC: It says short range, does this mean I can extend the bone to the edge of short range? Or is it a set length?
Whew. Late reply huh? Sorry about that. Don't know if you have dropped this or not so I'm going to reply.Well done. Now, the rest of the B rank are just a few techniques which are simply diferent attacks using a bone sword. The do not require any actual performance or bone growth. There is nothing to gain from having you swing the bone sword around in diferent angles. So we can consider B ranks done with.
(Tessenka no Mai Tsuru) - Dance of the Clematis Vine
Rank: A
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 35
Damage Points: 60
Description: The First half of Tessenka No Mai, the fourth of the five Kaguya Dance Forms. User removes their spinal column from their back to create a flexible yet extremely sharp bone vine. Because the vine is flexible, it can wrap itself around an opponent to rip them to pieces.
Now, this is will a bit more painful than a bone through your hand. This time, I need you to endure the pain and using sheer force of will, grow out the edge of your sinal column through your back. Grab it with your hand firmly and pull with great force, removing it entirely from your body. Make sure to replace the spinal column with a brand new bone in place rapidly after taking it out. Otherwise you'll fall down like a sandbag and be unable to move for the rest of your life. Then tell me all you can about the jutsu.
However you like. Whichever option is easier for youAlright, during your time off, a lot of Kaguya techniques have been added to the B rank section. If it were just 1 or 2, we could move on, but we're gonna have to cover them. Same style, or just analysis?
