Slowly making my way to the training field, with the hands in my pockets I close the distance between my location until I fully arrive there. But what to see, my student was already present. So coming closer to him, I greet him with a welcoming smile.

Greetings, I am Nikodo and I am your water teacher. Before we begin I wanted to know some things from you though. ho are you? Why would you want to learn the way of the water release...And what is your goal as a shinobi?

Ohhh? You wanna beat me too? Alright...I would be happy to see that day. So grow strong, and face me shinobi. I will take you on anytime in a friendly teacher-student battle.

Smiling after answering, I kinda felt happy after his reply. He wanted to get strong and known, for me it was most important to see him again, just like he wanted to be. But for this, he needed my training today.

Alright, so water...Before we begin I need you to explain a couple of things to be. Explain please...What is Water Release? What is Shape and Nature manipulation? And the difference between Projectiles and streams. This is mostly to test your knowledge to see what I am working with and in what pace we can progress. after you have answered, we can continue.

Well Sensei ,"Water release is one of the 5 basic elements , that allows you control water , preexisting or your own . Its created from molding your chakra into the water with nature manipulation .

Nature Manipulation is a form of chakra control. It moulds one's chakra into an type of chakra nature such as water , altering its properties and characteristics to match that nature .

Shape Manipulation is a form of chakra control and a technique that manipulates chakra creates new techniques. It changes the form and movement of chakra , determining the size, and range of a technique .

Projectiles: Projectiles are objects which are propelled into the air. For eg: shurikens, kunais, etc. These are thrown towards the opponent. Now, projectiles move in a certain fixed direction, unless their direction is externally changed by blowing wind, water, etc. With projectiles the user gathers all their chakra into one central focus point and releases the chakra all in one burst or divided in several bursts, meaning the chakra is concentrated at one single point and thus the area of damage is short compared to streams, however due to the concentration being large, one single point when hit by a projectile faces massive damage.

Streams: A stream is a constant and well defined flow of an any material. For eg: a stream of wind. Here, you gather chakra, and then simply release it in a steady flow outwards toward your target and you maintain that steady flow until the chakra you've built up for the technique is no longer there. This means that streams have their power spread out evenly throughout the technique as opposed to several individualized burst of chakra that have their own capabilities, meaning you have to constantly focus on your chakra, however, you're free to alter the direction of your attack, since you still maintain the control over it until the amount of chakra that is built up gets exhausted."

Water release is one of the basic 5 nature manipulations in the shinobi world. Water unlike any other element is if you ask me, the calmest. You can clearly see this as you manipulate water. It is the easiest element to manipulate, as it has a very calm nature, it is free flowing and relaxed. Water release is all about manipulating water from preexisting sources like, rivers or lakes, or create your very own water. A true master is able to create entire lakes on his own to then be able to use this water perfectly in his advantage. Water can be created by manipulating your chakra in a way that it will mimic water as closely as possible. You release your raw chakra and then imagine the way water behaves. This about the very nature of water, the very existence. And you will be able to mimic this effect, creating water release itself.

The relation water has with other elements is tricky.

• Water is strong against fire, it is strong against the rawest most powerful element. Because it is a fairly natural property of it. It can put the flames down. The rule of thumb on this one is, A rank water is stronger than A rank fire. It is actually at the same level as S rank fire.

• Water is weak to earth, and that is because the very nature of earth, will not water go through it. It will not let water penetrate through the surface of it. But the description is also key. So don't forget you need not only to rely on numbers, but even how it is executed. Rule of thumb is...A rank earth is stronger than A rank water. An A rank earth jutsu is on the same level as a S rank water technique.

• Water is equal to wind. Though if used smartly in combos, you can use wind to make water a lot faster than it is naturally. So they really shine in combos, don't forget. Rule of thumb, A rank water = A rank Wind.

• Lightning and water have a very unique relation. Clashing head on, water is actually equal to lightning, but used together in combos a lightning will get stronger since it will flow better if a body is already wet, and it will do a lot more damage. Rule of thumb on this one is A rank water = A rank lightning.

As for projectiles and streams...Amazing work. But now...tell them to me with your own words and not Naruto's. What are projectiles and streams?

Projectiles are objects that are thrown into the air like kunais. They can move in a certain fixed direction or be changed by wind or water

Streams are a flow of anything like water streaming down a river or lake or wind streaming through the sky . They are usually steady and flow well unlike projectiles .

Not bad, you got the basics down at least. Alright, now we shall continue with the techniques. I want you to perform the technique with the maximum detail possible and give me for each one, a couple of advantages and disadvantages. Once done, we will just continue. I will go with progressively larger number of techniques with the max being 3, but I need to be sure that you can keep up, so we will begin from the calmest and easiest level.

Saying that, we fully continue with the training.

(Suiton No Jutsu) - Water technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points:20
Description: Creates small waves of water, small blasts, and small shields of water.
Note: Doesn't require a water source but can be used to manipulate existing water.
Alright, now go close to the lake of the training field and close your eyes. Start creating chakra inside your body and slowly. Extend your hand forward pointing to the water and slowly use your chakra to affect the water in the surface. Feel the idea of water itself, when you leak your chakra towards the water you will feel water itself. You will feel the calmness, power but as well the power of water. You will feel the very nature of water itself. An the moment you feel one with this concept, give the water a certain push which will create small waves. Push and pull on it slowly, and slowly. Get the feel and understanding of water. Then we can proceed.

Toshiro moves to a lake close to him , he puts his hand on the lake and begins to visualize the water . The wet feeling after touching water, the way water flows, its calmness and power . After this he focuses chakra in his hand, he uses nature manipulation and turns his chakra into suiton chakra by remembering the qualities of the water and the way it flowed . Then he channels his chakra into the water and creates a small wave of water in the lake . He rejoices in his head but there was no time for that he thought . He keeps on pushing and pulling until he can fully grasp the water .

He slowly retracts his hand and stops completely ," Sensei, i wouldn't really see my self using this in an intense battle but it has many advantages like if your in need of quick protection from a kunai or other small ninja tools . It wont really affect you either because of it low chakra cost . But i would never rely on this to protect me from c and up ranked justu, the fact its so weak puts me at a huge disadvantage." Toshiro looks down at his hands and smiles at the fact he can now manipulate water .

Pretty decent, but I would like you to broad the way you think. You are too much focused on one or 2 usages. The disadvantages aren't just from the rank, but this of other elements, the fact that you can't use it in a higher rank, the speed of having on pre-existing water source and when you create your own water. This about it in every aspect possible and it will help you understand how the jutsu itself would work.

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

One of the most iconic jutsu, used even by Zabuza himself in a battle, this technique is one of the most versatile in the whole jutsu list. You will charge chakra inside your body just like before. Calm your mind, and when the amounts necessary are gathered, send it towards your mouth. Release the chakra, in a very low density manner, keep the chakra thin and widen it through the battlefield, and with nature manipulation, you will create mist. The very mist which is just condensed water. Spread the mist evenly through the battlefield, this will limit the view and mask your chakra since the chakra of the mist is identical to yours. Sharingan and rinnegan will be fooled easily, though you can't trick the byakugan. Use it and kill my clone in the mist.

I make a clone waiting for your attack.
