It's short range mainly because of the additional effect it has, which is paralysis. According to Scorps: "Genjutsu = Mental Paralysis (and thus, beyond the normal alteration of how you perceive the world and as such your inability to "think" or act accordingly is paralyzed, in some cases, access to chakra might be conditioned in addition to the normal access to movement)" This is actually quite "game-breaking" in a fight, so in order to help restrict it a bit, it was made short range. Given, the effects are also quite useful if you happen to be the user. Naturally, you'd use the normal ways to release yourself from a B-Rank, and with the paralysis, a body surge would do the trick. I'd assume that the flowers came from the ground directly beneath and paralyzed you. Sad part is, this jutsu is from a game I actually played (Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive), which is on the PSP, but I don't remember much of it.

And you already posted the learned jutsu yourself, so...o_o'

This next move is a short to mid range jutsu. Keep that in mind as you are not going to be simply manipulating your opponent this time.
After you take over my clone's brain, begin tossing explosive tags at him, in a manner so that he is led that all of them are fluttering butterflies. In the process, while he is mesmerized, have him believe that he is sinking into the ground (thus, trapped within it), allowing you to toss a final explosive tag on his head.
Remember to time this jutsu, and when you believe you've thrown enough explosive tags, detonate them all with the Snake Handseal.

Understood.

Alucard performed a single handseal and then releases his chakra into the mind of a clone. He then threw a large portion of paper bombs towards the target who seemingly thinks they are butterflies sinking into the ground while they make him/her immobilized. Alucard would then be able to throw a real paper bomb and then perform the Snake handseal to detonate.

( Magen: Chō Shinka ) - Demonic Illusion: Butterfly Evolution
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user makes one handseal, placing the opponent in a genjutsu. The user then tosses a large number of explosive tags at the opponent. To the opponent, it looks as if they are countless butterflies. The opponent then believes they are sinking into the ground, in reality making them immobilized; this allows the user to place one final exploding tag on their forehead before detonating all the tags simultaneously.

Hm, depending on how fast the butterflies move you might be able to use Kai if you pinpoint fast how random the flock of butterflies are before they paralyze you. Performing the hardening technique would both release you from the spell and the real detonation i think. .

I'm unsure about this step though.
Alucard would then be able to throw a real paper bomb and then perform the Snake handseal to detonate.
Does it mean i have to get to close range or throw a real paper bomb as the opponent is paralyzed and then detonate or? If so is this all taking place in one move? o-o

Uhh, I think you did this wrong. Firstly, the purpose of Genjutsu in this technique contain two aspects: One, to trick the opponent into thinking the explosive tags you are throwing are simply butterflies so he won't do anything against it, and secondly, he is sinking into the ground as this is happening.

So, if you were caught in this Genjutsu, you'd feel yourself sinking as you see a flock of butterflies coming towards you. Remember this:
- You begin with butterflies, as they are a way to mask your upcoming move and also causes confusion and chaos (much like a huge swarm of bees flying at you). State how far and how many you send them too, as this is jutsu that goes to mind range, then begin to immobilize your opponent. Jutsus need not to be used as this is your mind, and you can make anything happen.
- You yourself must move away from the explosion, and be sure to state that your explosive tags have surrounded your opponent at short range, so that it does not affect you.
-The end result of this jutsu would be a huge explosion that you could also take advantage of.

This next jutsu was something that Kabuto used in the first series of Naruto.
Spread your chakra throughout the air and affect both my clone and I by causing feathers to fall from the sky.
Due to its slow and mesmerizing motion as it floats down, we should both fall asleep.

Alucard gathered up chakra and performed a single handseal to cast yet another highly ranked genjutsu on you and your clone. As it would unfold, the sky would get filled with calmly falling feathers that would darken the skies. It's pretty easy to figure out it's a genjutsu, but not easy to escape it due to it's highly fuelation of chakra put into it. Upon touching the feathers, you would fall asleep calmly under one turn while still being in the genjutsu. In reality immobilized.

Description: The user makes one handseal, placing all the targets in the area under an illusion where feathers appear to fall from the sky. This slowly puts the opponents to sleep after one turn.

Questions:

Is the target immobilized if they don't escape the genjutsu even though they haven't fallen asleep yet?

What happens when they fall asleep? Is it impossible to wake up? o-o

Well, this was used during the Chunin exam, so no. It's a fairly weak Genjutsu, both in terms of execution as well as reasoning as feathers appearing out of nowhere practically indicates that it is a Genjutsu and a simple "Kai" should be able to stop this. And of course it's not impossible to wake up as this affects their nervous system, so all you need to do is disturb the flow of their chakra! They also seemed to make this jutsu mid range...it used to be short when I last saw it. o_o I'd find a way to slip this into your combos without letting your opponent notice the feathers.

This next jutsu is somewhat simple, but very deadly.
Begin in the same manner, by sending your chakra to overtake my clone's five senses (no, it does not affect you, haha), and then snuff out his vision, making him believe that he had been transported into a world of complete darkness. (Only works on the eyes, nowhere else.)

By utilizing my raw chakra i unleash it after performing a single handseal. The chakra is then clouding my opponents five senses and traps them in a powerful illusion that would create an endless darkness. However the victim would still be able to use their other senses while being temporarily blinded. Due to it being an A-ranked jutsu it's difficult to break out of it and since it's affecting the victims eyesight it's a perfect combination with pretty much any other jutsu.

Description: The user makes one handseal, causing the opponent to believe they have been trapped in a world of infinite darkness, where their sense of sight is useless. It is capable of affecting multiple targets within range. However, it does not negate their other senses.

I don't believe it's necessary for me to explain further, but our vision is generally where we obtain the most information from - while this does not affect your other senses (allowing it to work both in favor and in hindrance), it allows for a lot of unique strategies where the temporary loss of sight can become extremely detrimental to your enemies during battle.

So this next technique is basically the Second Mizukage's. Begin by concentrating your chakra into my clone and then manipulation its senses so that a Giant Clam bearing yourself arises from before him. Immediately after this, the clam should begin to expel mist, causing further confusion to your opponent while your true position is hidden. On that note...the description of this technique is extremely poor...and I can see why I've never seen anyone use it. ._.

Maybe cus no one likes to dress up like a clam >.>

I gathered up another large portion of raw chakra that i release into your clone, again to cloud it's senses(wait do clones even have those <.<).. By manipulating said senses, i make it seem like i am disappearing in a barrage of mist and then emerge right infront of the clone and being inside a giant clam. As me and the clam appears, another thick barricade of mist appears and surrounds the clone while my real presence is completely hidden..

( Shinkirō no Jutsu ) - Mirage Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 30 (+15 per turn active)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The Giant Clam manifests a realistic mirage of itself along with its summoner, the Second Mizukage, which is almost impossible for most observers to distinguish from the real thing. This property makes the technique ideal for concealing the actual location of either individual, resulting in confusion amongst the opposition as their attacks are rendered ineffective and they attempt to ascertain the pair's true positions. However, to maintain the illusion, the clam must continually exude a mist from its siphons throughout the entire duration of the ability.
Note: Can only remain active for 3 turns.

I believe that's the last of my genjutsu training. T's been a long time i've spent teaching but finally i am done and i'd like to thank you..(all) who's been teaching me all these years :I. <3
