Magnus had finally caught up to him. One known throughout the lands as one of the four emperors of the sea, now stood in the open field, waiting, but for what? It mattered not, Magnus had only come to test his own strength against one of the strongest, how else could he find where he was weak? He made his way closer to the man, but he wasn't alone, in the sky above, a black figure circled with a scythe in hand as Magnus stopped before the Red Haired Pirate.
"The Emperor of the Sea, Red Haired Shanks. What an honour it is to have finally caught up to you. Though i'm afraid i want more than just a chat, though i think you understand..."
Magnus draws a scroll with his left hand from inside his robes on the right, drawing it across his body as he activates it releasing 20 kunai at Shanks and the area all around him with wires attached. As the ones on either side of shanks were passing him, Magnus pulled on the strings in a manor, so that the kunai came back on themselves to hit Shanks in the sides and behind:

The Inuzuka came across the two men as they confronted each other on the open grassy field. With his other two ninken housed within and riding atop Fūjin, Kōtetsu stopped a fair distance away to observe the battle.

Shanks stopped in his tracks as the man came before him and started talking. It seemed he knew who Shanks was and about his status on the seas. "Oh? Seems I'm at a disadvantage here, you know of me, but I know nothing about you. What is your name?"
As the man drew the scroll and unraveled it, Shanks would unsheathe his sword as the kunais were released towards him. He'd channel his lightning chakra throughout the sword, to increase it's cutting power before then passively applying a seal to it, binding the enhancement to his weapon. Once this is done, he'd use the sword to cut through the kunai and wire that were attempting to hit him, performing a full slash that would slice through them and leave him unharmed.
Shanks was also aware of the other beings in the area, one above him and a few further away. "Give me a moment, it seems we have an uninvited guest." Shanks would say before turning his head in the direction of the man in the distance. He'd channel lightning into his hand whilst raising it in the direction of the Inuzuka, releasing a spear of lightning that would split into multiple spears from the main one so that it would converge on him from all directions, leaving him no room to escape.

Description: This seal may only be used on weapons that are in contact with the user. This seal may also be passively applied to the users weapons or formed onto a weapon the user is holding by expending a move. Only activated when the user is utilizing a jutsu to enhance or otherwise affect said weapon, this seal (which is marked with the kanji for "bind") will activate and drain chakra from the user to fuel said jutsu , even when the user uses another jutsu. It will permanently (or for as long as the user chooses to keep paying chakra) bind the enhancement to the weapon by doing so, as it is constantly being fueled. Each turn the weapon will be able to be used as if the enhancement that was made on it was newly activated, so that they may block and attack with the weapon it was used on without breaking the freeform dodging/blocking rules.

Descripton: The user, after performing the Snake handseal, emits lightning in the shape of a spear from their hands or mouth which then pierces the enemy. Kakuzu, the original user, shoots the technique from his Lightning mask's mouth. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies by branching the main spear. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.

Magnus watched as the blade glowed bright with lightning, so he was proficient with a blade. Interesting. He cut cleanly through the wires and the kunai with his enhanced blade in the process. So being direct clearly wouldn't work on such a foe.
"You can call me Magnus. Knowing my name probably doesn't mean much to a man like you, just another person in the world looking to test himself as i'm sure you can imagine. Unlike the mutt hiding in the trees. I appreciate you dealing with such a cretin. Now we shall continue".
With that Magnus created a thick wall of mist to spread around the area, blocking sight and sound within. For now he didn't need these senses. It was time to test himself. As he released this mist to spread around, he sprinted around in an arc around to his right, to come around on his opponent's left side. As he first moved, within the mist, he threw several kunai with explosive tags up in the air to come down on shanks right side all around that area. Exploding as they fall creating the distraction

With that as he travelled in the mist, unheard and unseen as it spread, he drew his own blade, Tartarus, so that as soon as the mist passed over shank's location, Magnus would be behind him swinging his sword in his right hand, aiming for shank's neck, aiming to cut from shanks left side to his right. Cutting his head off in the process

The technique works by having the user focus his chakra and his complete attention on moving fluidly, rapidly but muffling any sound he may make while moving as well as his presence, etc. It doesn't suppress his chakra or hides it but it can make the opponent virtually undetected if he manages to get on the opponents blind spot.
