History:
Laxus was born into the Akimichi clan of Konohagakure. It was a stormy night when Laxus mother, Kanae gave birth to him. Laxus father was by her side throughout the birth process. It was a very special moment for both parents, seeing their son come into the world. Laxus was both Kanae and Ivan first child. Ivan, being the head of the Akimichi clan knew that one day his son would grow strong enough to lead the clan and maybe one day become the kage. He stood at Kanaes side the entire time thinking of the future of his son. Laxus cried on for a little while but Kanae began singing a song that her mother sang to her as a child. Little Laxus got quiet and fell asleep on his mothers chest while she rock him and sing to him. Ivan took his family home the next morning, introducing his new born son to the clan and family members. Laxus got the clans blessing and he was now officially part of the Akimichi clan. The king was born.
As Laxus grew older, he became a prodigy. He was always very talented but he still trained very hard to become better. Ivan trained Laxus as much as possible because he wanted him to be the head of the clan one day. He pushed Laxus to his max everyday, sometimes angering him. Laxus began mastering elements and showing great skills for his age. His father then decided to teach him the clans special abilities. First, Laxus needed to learn the clans history and secrets. Many clan members wasn't supporting Ivan decisions because they believed Laxus was to young to know about the clans secrets. Ivan trusted his son with his life and the clan so he proceeded. Laxus began training in the clans special abilities and he learned very fast, people believing he is a prodigy. Laxus began going out on missions with his father as a Akimichi shinobi, not a Konohagakure ninja. He was put into tough situations, testing his battle intelligence and fighting skills. Laxus was already on a Jonin level in his young teen days. Over time, Laxus have seen many shinobis die, families ruined all because of the currupt shinobi world. Laxus became strong enough to handle himself in very difficult situations. Some of the clan members even began to say that instead of becoming the leader of the clan, that Laxus can become kage. It was rare to see someone with his skills and he was compared to the third kage many times, not only for his shinobi skills, but his sarcasim and goofing around. He wanted to make a change in the ninja world, for his name to be known for making a change for the better. He didn't believe in violence but rather find peaceful solutions to problems. Laxus always knew there was a huge world out there just waiting to be explored. He began thinking about leaving the village and adventuring around the shinobi world as he trained and got stronger.
One warm beautiful evening, Laxus family was having dinner. Over the night before, he came to his final decision of leave Konohagakure. He wanted to travel around and meet new people, maybe start a new life in a new village. Laxus just went with the flow and he took of from Konohagakure. Laxus travelled around and lived in multiple small villages during his journey. He met wonderful people and they all gave him some type of knowledge about life and the ninja world. Laxus met a girl by the name of Mirajane on his long journey. He was interested in her and she was into him also. They connected very well and they were both on the same path in life and believed they were destined to meet. They spent a lot of time together, often going for swims, late night walks together and sparring. Mirajane has a winning record against Laxus in their spars but Laxus often holds back against her because he's in love with her. The two decided to travel from village to village and learn new things but no matter what, they will always stay by each others sides. One day, they were heading west to see what's down there and they were attacked by rogue ninjas.
They wanted to take all of Laxus and Mirajanes belongings. Laxus told Mirajane to stay out of it because he ran into these same rogue ninjas in the past and he had a scored to settle with them. Mirajane didn't like that he said that but the thought of him protecting her made her special. Laxus began fighting the rogue ninjas and they stood no match for him. He showed them the true power of the Lightning God and Mirajane was very impressed. Laxus felt great because he got his payback and also impressed the woman he loves. Mirajane then told Laxus that she was thinking of visiting the Village Hidden in the Rain, Amegakure. Laxus told her that he'd never been there and it would be great to visit the village. He was worried though because he had heard rumors of a notorious group known as the Akatsuki residing there. He warned Mirajane that it might be difficult to get into Amegakure and that they had a history of always being involed in war thanks to their former leader Hanzo, but since he died, Laxus thought it was okay to go there.
On their way there, Laxus and Mirajane ran into a female shinobi by the name of Blake Belladonna. Blake had the hidden rains headband on and Laxus was kinda happy to see that. He introduced himself to Blake and so did Mirajane. Blake was very kind to them and she gave them an idea of what Amegakure is like. Laxus was very impressed and asked Blake if he can go there with his girlfriend and start a new life, or atleast settle there for a little while. Blake was happy to hear that and she invited them to the village. Laxus began his journey to Amegakure along with his lover and Blake Belladonna. When they got to the village, Blake introduced them to some of his friends and local villagers. Laxus and Mirajane used whatever cash they had left to get a place to live. Laxus and Mirajane was happy with what they had going. Laxus often wondered what's going on back home in Konohagakure. He thought of his parents and family everyday and maybe going back to visit some time in the future. Laxus was happy though because it's a new begining in his life and he knows he has a wonderful future ahead oh him in Amegakure and with the woman he loves.

Members of the clan possess great physical strength and are able to quickly convert calories into chakra, which they then use in their various secret techniques. These techniques revolve around the expansion and increase in size of either certain body parts or the whole body and using the increased size and strength in powerful hand to hand attacks. Most of these techniques rapidly consume the user's chakra during use, and maintaining them during a prolonged battle can be tiring. For this reason the Akimichi have high chakra levels and eat a lot in order to build up or replenish their chakra reserves. As a tribute, members of the clan wear the kanji for "food" (食, shoku) on the their clothing. If standard calories aren't enough for a battle, Akimichi can use the clan's Three Coloured Pills to convert excess fat into chakra, at the cost of one's health. The pills were developed in a joint effort between the Nara and Akimichi clans.

Description: A practical application of the Multi-Size Technique which lets one expand their own body. The point of swelling a single part of the body is to use the weight to increase the power of one's physical attacks. Any bodily part may be augmented this way, but for ease of use the arms and legs tend to be chosen quite frequently. The speed of the expansion is exceedingly sudden, which makes it extremely difficult to avoid. Like the majority of the Akimichi clan's techniques, this one requires a considerable amount of chakra. This jutsu lasts for 2 turns.

This technique is a smaller version of the (Chōharite Super Open Hand Slap) that is used whilst performing the multi-size technique

Description: This is a secret technique passed down in the Akimichi clan that increases the user's body size by converting their calories into chakra. The user can freely alter their size at will when using this technique and can use it for an extensive period of time. A common application of the techniques gives the user a very round appearance by mostly increasing the size of the abdominal section, which was done in order to use the Human Bullet Tank technique. Other, more common applications increase the size of the entire body, turning the user into a giant. This jutsu lasts for 4 turns.
Note: Only Akimichi Clan members can use this jutsu.
(Mizudan Suisha) – Ballistic Waterwheel

Description: After using the Multi-Size Technique to increase their size, the user funnels chakra into their hands, which causes special markings to appear in them. The weight and power of the hands are greatly increased because of the larger size, the muscles are activated with concentrated chakra, and the thickness is also increased. With so much chakra that it becomes visible, the user's palms become like an iron hammer. This gives this attack the power to even cave in the earth, causing extensive crushing damage to anything that may be caught beneath them. This attack is also shown to have a wide range due to the increased size of his palms. This technique is strong enough to crush C rank and below water and earth techniques.

Description: This is a life threatening technique if used in combination with the red Akimichi food pill, which burns away all of a ninja's excess fat and converts it into chakra. Because the members of the Akimichi clan tend to be overweight to support their techniques, this pill can give them 100 times their normal chakra level. The intensely concentrated chakra that is gained leaks out from the backbone and becomes visible through friction with the shoulder blade, appearing like a butterfly wing. The user then concentrates the unique chakra into their fist, and then puts all their body weight behind the punch. The massive amount of chakra concentrated is enough to change the user's body structure, reducing their overwall mass making them slender.

Description:With its effectiveness raised several times by using it together with weapons such as kunai connected by wire this technique is an enhanced version of the Akimichi clan's Human Bullet Tank. The user can also grow out their hair to wrap around his body, in a manner similar to Jiraiya's Needle Jizō technique, instead of using kunai. This results in far more spikes than the previous version, as well as a shorter preparation time due to not needing to wrap kunai around his body.

(Sanshoku no Gan'yaku) Three Coloured Pills

Description:
The Three Coloured Pills are secret medicines used by the Akimichi clan. As the name suggests, there are three pills, each with a different colour. First is the green Spinach Pill (Hōrengan), next is the yellow Curry Pill (Karēgan), and last is the red Chilli Pill (Tongarashigan). By forcibly converting the body's fat reserves into chakra, each successive pill ingested gives a tremendous power boost by forcefully pushing the normal metabolism and abilities of the Akimichi clan members beyond their normal limit. However, each pill poses a great risk on the user. Forcing such process upon the body makes the user lose much of his body mass, specially all of the fat. Not only that, but, as the fat is metabolized into energy, it leaves many poisonous and toxic byproducts within the body. While in the normal rate of the metabolism, these are dealt with and eliminated before they can do any harm, in an accelerated metabolism they accumulate in high amounts before the body can expel them. This poisons the body and produces enormous physical damage. As each pill is consumed, more power is released inside the user but more damage he takes from its use.
(Horengan) Spinach Pill - The first pill and the most basic ones. Any Jounin rank Akimichi can use this and it grants the user a slightly higher physical strength (+10 to Taijutsu), speed and chakra (+5 to all Ninjutsu). After eating it, the effects last for 5 turns. Once those pass, the user is left unable to mold techniques above S-Rank for 4 turns.
(Karegan) Curry Pill - The second pill and the first one considered dangerous. Any S-Class Ninja ranked Akimichi can user it. One must have already eaten the Spinach Pill and be under its effects before eating the Curry Pill. (Tongarashigan) Chili Pill - The third and last pill but also the most dangerous of all. Can only be used by Sannin Rank and above Akimichi ninjas and its effects are much more drastic than those of the other 2 pills. To gain access to its power boost, the user must be under the effects of the other 2 pills, thus the enormous risk this pill comes with. The strength is increased to enormous levels (an additional +20 to Taijutsu), speed (now equivalent to 3rd Gate) and chakra (an additional +10 to Ninjutsu). While becoming insanely strong, the user also becomes utterly vulnerable. The effects of the pill are fleeting and the user has 3 turns to win, because otherwise, he loses since once the pill wears off, the user is left unable to move, barely conscious and unable to mold chakra.

Description:
This ability grants members of the Akimichi clan free control of their body's calories — which they convert into chakra in order to perform their techniques. The Akimichi developed the Three Coloured Pills for easier use of this technique, however, the use of the pills carry great risks. On the contrary, these effects are not as severe when the user performs the technique without the assistance of the pills. At the highest level of the technique, the user converts calories into chakra and releases the chakra in the shape of two large butterfly wings. In this form, the user can use some of their clan's high-level techniques, several times without experiencing fatigue or other adverse effects. The user still experiences weight loss but it isn't nearly as severe as when the pills are used. Upon activation, a brutal mass of chakra is released and boosts the users body and his skills. The user gains such a strength that his Taijutsu becomes immense. He gains +50 damage to Taijutsu and a physical strength to match Tsunade Senju, while his overall speed becomes equivalent to 3rd Gate. Not only that, but the overflow of chakra power his Ninjutsu immensely, adding +30 to damage to them. All of this can be maintained during 4 full turns. Once those end, the user is left depleted of fat and energy, unable to use his clan techniques or ninjutsu/genjutsu above B-Rank until the end of the battle. He maintains, however, full use of taijutsu. This technique is only available for Kage rank (and above) Akimichi masters and once learned, renders the use of the three colored pills, unnecessary.

The speed of the expansion is exceedingly sudden, which makes it extremely difficult to avoid. Like the majority of the Akimichi clan's techniques, this one requires a considerable amount of chakra. Description: This is a secret technique passed down in the Akimichi clan that increases the user's body size by converting their calories into chakra. A common application of the techniques gives the user a very round appearance by mostly increasing the size of the abdominal section, which was done in order to use the Human Bullet Tank technique. Other, more common applications increase the size of the entire body, turning the user into a giant. This jutsu lasts for 4 turns.

Description: This is a life threatening technique if used in combination with the red Akimichi food pill, which burns away all of a ninja's excess fat and converts it into chakra. Because the members of the Akimichi clan tend to be overweight to support their techniques, this pill can give them 100 times their normal chakra level. The intensely concentrated chakra that is gained leaks out from the backbone and becomes visible through friction with the shoulder blade, appearing like a butterfly wing. The user then concentrates the unique chakra into their fist, and then puts all their body weight behind the punch. The massive amount of chakra concentrated is enough to change the user's body structure, reducing their overwall mass making them slender.

This results in far more spikes than the previous version, as well as a shorter preparation time due to not needing to wrap kunai around his body.

The Three Coloured Pills are secret medicines used by the Akimichi clan. As the name suggests, there are three pills, each with a different colour. First is the green Spinach Pill (Hōrengan), next is the yellow Curry Pill (Karēgan), and last is the red Chilli Pill (Tongarashigan). By forcibly converting the body's fat reserves into chakra, each successive pill ingested gives a tremendous power boost by forcefully pushing the normal metabolism and abilities of the Akimichi clan members beyond their normal limit. However, each pill poses a great risk on the user. Forcing such process upon the body makes the user lose much of his body mass, specially all of the fat. Not only that, but, as the fat is metabolized into energy, it leaves many poisonous and toxic byproducts within the body. While in the normal rate of the metabolism, these are dealt with and eliminated before they can do any harm, in an accelerated metabolism they accumulate in high amounts before the body can expel them. This poisons the body and produces enormous physical damage. As each pill is consumed, more power is released inside the user but more damage he takes from its use.
(Horengan) Spinach Pill - The first pill and the most basic ones. Any Jounin rank Akimichi can use this and it grants the user a slightly higher physical strength (+10 to Taijutsu), speed and chakra (+5 to all Ninjutsu). After eating it, the effects last for 5 turns. Once those pass, the user is left unable to mold techniques above S-Rank for 4 turns.
(Karegan) Curry Pill - The second pill and the first one considered dangerous. Any S-Class Ninja ranked Akimichi can user it. Raiton
Laxus has an affinity with Raiton. His skill with the element is excellent and it's his favorite element. Over the years, Laxus has trained very hard to perfect his skill with the element abd he learned how to perform all Raiton jutsus with only one handseal. His knowledge of the element is also excellent. He's able to recognize most Raiton jutsus based on the handseal the user performs (Canon of course), giving him a slight advantage.
Katon
He can peform all katon jutsus with very fast handseals and his knowledge on the element helps him in battle.
Reflexes and stamina
Laxus has great reflexes, being able to dodge things easily. (such as kunais and shurikens).
Will power
Laxus has great will power that helps him greatly in battles. His will to win keeps small injuries from bothering or having an effect on his fighting.
