It was common courtesy to let his opponent have the first move. That much Ikkaku knew. Even more so, now that he is facing an elegant lady who's battle capabilities were of the highest calibre. Ikkaku had never personally faced the lady in battle, yet was on speaking terms with her. In battle however, none of these mattered. Battles were meant to be enjoyed, and taken seriously. We fight in a snowy/ rocky mountain passage similar to this but bigger.
You must be registered for see images=================================================================================================================
After taking her time following the directions left to her in her room Maren comes to an opening in the rocks which lead out to a large open area filled with a blank sheet of white snow, the only thing that interrupts the continuous blankness ahead of her are the grey monochromes of the sharp rocks which emerge from the ground scattered around the area ahead of her. Stepping through the small gap in the rocks into the open Maren looks around for the one whom had left the note, she then, through the thick blanket of snow which falls from the skies around her notices the silhouette of a man. She recognizes the shape ahead of her from her time in Iwagakure and smiles to herself as she approaches him.
"Ikkaku.. is it? In your letter, you said that you were going to wait here for an opponent... to make my presence known to you by starting my assault? Well then... hopefully this won't be too much for ya!"
After finishing her sentence Maren begins running in a wide arc to her left as she runs she forms two clones behind her which begin running along following the same path that she is taking (almost like motion blur).
(Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shadow Clone Technique
Rank:B
Type:Supplementary
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:20
Damage Points:N/A
Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. Upon impact, the clone can be dispersed.
As she reaches the point halfway between where she started (long range from you) and her opponent the clone at the back of the group turns and begins to run directly towards you in a wavey pattern making sure that he reaches mid-range to you at the same time as the others (diagonally in front of you to your right), a few meters later the second clone does the same and runs at you (your right), eventually (when she reaches directly behind you) Maren stops and turns to her opponent before shooting a large ball of water into the air above him from behind.
(Suiton: Teppoudama) - Water Style: Water Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user gathers water in their mouth and then spits out a large sphere of rotating water that can blast a huge area leaving it soaked.
A moment after Maren releases the bullet the clone in front of you to the right releases a condensed ball of lightning chakra that then proceeds to release a continuous rain of lightning bolts at you and around you (some of the bolts are aimed to hit you, others are aimed above you to connect with the water bullet).
(Raiton: Kaminari no Shōgeki Ame) - Lightning Release: Lightning Shock Rain
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user manipulates their lightning chakra condensing into a orb of chakra and then releasing it into mid air. The lightning orb will then remain in the air for several seconds releasing a continous rain of lightning bolts shocking any enemy within the radius of the attack.
As the lightning connects with the water bullet the water explodes out of its bullet form and covers an expansive range around her opponent meaning, the water also electrifies as it spreads around through the air making dodging the bolts incredibly dangerous for her opponent. Whilst this is all happening the clone to your side throws three kunai, two with explosive tags at the ground to clear the snow on the ground and leave a stable surface for the lightning infused water to settle on, the explosions also melt the snow around you and leave a thin layer of water on the ground around you which will also become electrified when the water from above lands and mixes in with it. The third kunai is plain and travels straight toward your right bicep.
Baldy, what did i tell you about wallies D:. Thought you were making them bigger and better </3 sorry for spamIt was common courtesy to let his opponent have the first move. Things like friendship and camaraderie should never be taken into the battlefield. Ikkaku stood there, his arms folded, as he awaited his opponent with utmost serenity, yet with an air of austerity that even a fool would not challenge.
Ikkaku closed his eyes. She was late. Perhaps it was just Ikkaku being too serious about battles, that he would always be indefinitely punctual, and hence always ended up waiting for his opponents. That said, Ikkaku was an honourable and respectful man; He thought it a must to be courteous in battle, and it would be disgraceful to be late for a battle. Ikkaku's thirst for battle was implacable, day after day, week after week, Ikkaku sought fights with all sorts of ninja's; From the strongest of ninja's that stood at the very pinnacle, or even those that had just started out. Fearless he was, courageous he was, in Ikkaku's vocabulary, there wasn't ever the word 'escape' inside it. A battle was fought for fun, anybody who disagreed to that would never earn Ikkaku's respect. Fighting for power, fighting for pride, such thoughts were merely fabricated to give a motive for battle. Yet, as Ikkaku was taught, the true motive one should have for battle, was to fight for enjoyment. It was his ideal to spread his motto across the world. It was a truly ambitious dream indeed, yet, Ikkaku believed that it was possible, as long as everybody puts their best foot forward, and contributed, be it in small or large quantities.
Ikkaku was engrossed in his thoughts. It was his preparation for battle. Almost like a ritual. Assuming a state of utmost concentration, Ikkaku would clear his mind of nothing but the battle ahead. Not even the howling wind of the evening could distract Ikkaku from the battle. The weather was harsh; a thick blanket of snow layered the ground, almost burying Ikkaku's ankles, making movement much more difficult. It was freezing cold, as a sleet of snow rushed over the terrain, carried along by the incessant wind. It was a huge hailstorm, whose severity could only seem to accentuate as time passes with every moment. At this rate, the battle conditions might turn unfavourable. In fact, in this darkness, it might be nigh near impossible to see his opponent.
And yet, through the howling of the wind, a familiar voice resounded through the air, "Ikkaku.. is it? In your letter, you said that you were going to wait here for an opponent... to make my presence known to you by starting my assault? Well then... hopefully this won't be too much for ya!"
Hmph, that took her long enough. And so she finally arrived. Ikkaku opened his eyes and took a gander at his surroundings, squinting to see where the lady was. Ahh, there she was. Maren, was that her name? It had been a while since they met, and the first time they would be fighting. Of course, greetings were a gesture of courtesy, Maren had already greeted Ikkaku, now it was time to let her know the name of the man about to kill her.
"Maren. Whilst we may know each other, a battle is a battle. Let me introduce myself once again. A simple formality, yet essential before a battle. After all, it's only nice to tell your opponent the name of the person who killed her? Very well..I am Ikkaku Madarame Kaguya of Iwagakure, sometimes known as Baldy, due to my peculiar bald head. And y-?"
The rest of Ikkaku's speech got cut off. Clearly, Maren wasn't keen on a pretty dialogue before battle. She, too, was eager for the battle to commence. Without hesitation, Ikkaku awaited in keen anticipation, keeping a close eye on Maren's movements. She was quite a distance away, perhaps it would be better to allow her to come closer. That way, it would be easier for Ikkaku to combat her, for he was more specialised close up. He continued to watch as Maren started to run towards his right, in an arc as several copies of her suddenly poof into existence right behind her, exact replicas which follow Maren and continue running in the arc. Ikkaku notices the smoke that erupts when the clones appear, and from there deduces that they are physical copies, Shadow Clones, in other words.
Ikkaku heaved a sigh as he watched Maren create the 2 doppelgängers who trailed behind the original Maren. So her plan was to outnumber Ikkaku? A clever one indeed, fighting multiple opponents at once was not exactly easy, given the current weather, it would be hard to keep all 3 of them under his sight at all times. Ikkaku watched as Maren drew closer from his right, wondering what her plan was. After all, if her only plan was to run straight at him with a couple of clones, she would be underestimating Ikkaku. Nevertheless, Ikkaku knows better what Maren can do, and hence formulates a plan to stop her before she can do anything. He gauges the distance between him and Maren, waiting for her to step into the boundaries of 'mid-range'.
Ikkaku muttered softly under his breath, "You're falling right into my plan."
He lets out a frivolous cackle of laughter as you enter mid-range of Ikkaku, with Maren and her 2 clones converging upon Ikkaku from his right. Without any form of warning, Ikkaku slams his hands on the ground, manipulating the earth in the ground, using;
Rank: A
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user lowers or raises the ground in the surrounding area at high speeds, allowing them to create giant holes in the ground or avoid attacks. The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.
Manipulating the ground, causing a 'U' shaped wall of earth to rise from the ground, with the side connecting the other two sides rising right in front of Maren. The wall of earth is around 20 meters tall, and is roughly 5 meters in width, and 8 meters in length. Hence, Maren and her two clones would be within the confinement of this U-shaped wall, with sufficient space within it. Of course, this prevents any movement forwards anymore, nor to the sides, as the only escape is from the back of this wall. That said, the opening at the back of this wall is barely enough for a normal person to squeeze through, and would take quite some time to escape from, much less 3 people. That said, the U shaped wall serves as a constriction to your movement, stopping you in your tracks as Ikkaku prepares to go on the assault.
Ikkaku licked his upper lip with considerable pleasure. Hohoho, that wasn't the end, no, at least, Ikkaku wasn't going to end there. Just what he liked, for you and your pesky clones were trapped in a 'wall' with no way to escape but a little opening. Now, what should he do? Ikkaku thought of all the other possibilities, but he already knew what his original plan was. In conjunction with the previous technique, Ikkaku, with astounding finesse, his hands already on the ground, uses;
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: This jutsu causes gigantic pillars of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground. This is a even greater scaled Earth Release: Rising Spikes and is large enough to impale a summoning technique.
"Valiant you are, but your efforts are futile!" Ikkaku exclaimed, letting out a maniacal scream at the same time.
As soon as the U shaped wall rises in front of you and your clones, trapping all 3, Maren and her two clones, within the walls of my technique, gargantuan pillars of earth with a slightly blunt edge, but yet carry great impact along with them that can shatter bones, rise from every angle of the earthen walls, in an erratic and haphazard manner. Simply put, from the U shaped walls, multiple pillars of earth forcefully emerge, crushing anything inside the confinements of it. Due to the rapid and unpredictable rising pattern of the spikes, it would be literally impossible to dodge them all, what with being trapped and the immense size of each pillar alone, leaving the only viable way of defending yourself, destroying the pillars. This also rules out any form of aerial escape. Also, some of the pillars rise from the ground, crushing your body from every angle within the realms of reality, including your 2 clones who would get impaled and disperse into a cloud of smoke.
Ikkaku watches as you face your hopeful demise, by the hands of the bald man, being pitifully crushed by pillars many times the size of yourself. It was truly a sight to behold, the majestic and magnificent beauty of battle illustrated at its finest level. Destruction, mayhem, chaos. Those were the very stem characteristics of battle. The ebb and flow of battle was controlled by those. Even in such weather like this, Ikkaku's heart pounded with excitement as never before. He could even hear the deafening drumroll of the sleet crashing to the surrounding ground, and his very heartbeat as the pillars crushed his opponent to death. Elation rushed through his body. For the first time in many days, Ikkaku felt alive. He could not help but envision the sight of the pure white snow turning red with blood, sodden by the blood of Ikkaku's foe. It would be a magnificent sight, would it not?
Yet, Ikkaku had this numbing feeling in his heart. Surely, it wouldn't be that easy? Ikkaku let out a roar of fury as he decided to ensure his opponent's defeat. Right after creating the pillars that would crush his opponent, he uses;
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will create a field of water under the opponent before shocking them with a lightning attack.
Creating a mass of water that would materialize inside the confinements of the U-shaped wall. The field of water created has enough volume to fill the entire U-shaped wall up to knee height of Maren and her two clones. Of course, Ikkaku does this not without thought. Knowing that the Achilles heel of Earth is Lightning, he quickly materializes water inside the wall to prevent any use of lightning, as using it would prove detrimental to the user, as he would be electrocuted by the water. Once the water has formed, the water source will be electrocuted, with bolts of lightning shocking Maren and her two clones, in addition to the pillars crushing them.
Ikkaku was having the time of his life. The exhilaration he was feeling, words could not describe it. He had a vibe that this battle was going to be a good one, if it wasn't already over. Nevertheless, Ikkaku's main objective this time round was to get rid of the clones. It was his belief that only cowards would want to fight with numbers, but not with skill. Do not disappoint me, Maren. That was his thought, for Ikkaku expected much more than just futile efforts of trying to outnumber Ikkaku. Surely she was more capable than that, or she would have disappointed him. Indeed, Ikkaku awaited for Maren to burst out of the U-shaped confinements, completely unscathed. Ikkaku could not help himself, he grinned with delight at the fun he was having involuntarily.

EDIT: Forgot to mention this but, I'm using the bio in my sig, which I updated but its not yet approved yet. And talking doesn't affect the time frame <_<
Lol fuq off. ^_^ Don't insult my wallies T_TBaldy, what did i tell you about wallies D:. Thought you were making them bigger and better </3 sorry for spam
Just gonna apologise now, sorry for a very lazy and unoriginal move x_x Its late and I'm tired, my comp's being shit to me, but I still wanted to write a reply out, even if the description is lacking in some places :3Running freely through the frozen ground beneath her Maren feels free, the cold breeze and chill of the ice droplets which connect on her face almost make the area too serene to hold such a battle but it does none the less and she understands that she must not let the calming purity of the white snow distract her from the task at hand. Staying true to these feelings Maren is instantly aware of the trembling of the ground around her, she then peers over to the still vague shape of her opponent and notices him on the ground palm inserted deep into the snow under him. Maren instantly stops and drops to the ground herself throwing her right hand down under the snow to feel around for the dirt and rock that must have once layered the ground before the weather turned, however cold Maren forces the feeling to remain in her hand as she scoops up a large amount of dirt from under the ice. Being one in the same Maren's clone instantly knows what the plan is, to escape confinement.
Taking in the properties of the dirt in her hand Maren's body dispereses into the air in a cloud of the shining brown substance, the instant her body dissipates the clone closest to her true self claps her hand and sends a current of wind toward the dirt cloud which proceeds to lift the dirt up and out of the danger.
(Shinra Banshō Dōka No Jutsu) - Assimilate All Creation Technique
Rank: C
Type:Supplementary/Defense
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:N/A
Description:The user can take on the properties of any rock they touch and harden any part of there body. This jutsu also lets the target turn into fine grains of rock that can be used to do another jutsu.
(Fūton: Reppūshō) - Wind Release: Gale Palm
Rank: C
Type:Attack/Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: A simple technique that when the users hands are clapped together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale. This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.
Reaching safety Maren reforms her body and stands Mid-range from her opponent and directly in front of him, standing tall with her hands wedged firmly in her pockets she smiles at her opponent. The smile drops from her face quicker than she would want it to as she looks across at her opponent and sees that his facial expressions are hidden almost completely by the buffeting winds and icicles from above, therefore she realizes that a mere smile may not be enough (The clones are both destroyed by your technique).
"Maren Elizabeth, also of Iwagakure. I'm Number Six. That was a pretty move there Baldy, but I assure you that if you wanted an easy kill I'm not the person to give it to you..."
Changing her tone completely Maren's voice turns friendly and accepting, with the steely determination gone from her voice she begins speaking again.
"It seems you didn't get to finish what you were saying... would you like to take the opportunity to finish the idle chit-chat now?"
As Maren says her words her right hand drifts slowly from her pocket onto the hilt of the blade that extends from her belt, the blade with which she has killed so many in the past. As she takes a firm hold of her blade Maren opens her ears to her opponent and catches a number of snowflakes on her tongue, the instant the snowflakes connect with the warmth of her tongue they melt and water in her mouth, however small the amount of water may be it still leaves a basis for her to produce an almost unrecognizable technique, she knows that ninja are able to sense water attacks by watching their opponents produce the water in their mouths therefore by minimizing the need for this process she can release an attack quickly without her opponent expecting it.
Once she has a reasonable build up of water in her mouth (She utilizes her chakra inside her mouth to ensure that the water that she collects does not simply dissolve once it forms.) Maren spits the water out, as she spits it out she forms two handseals and transforms the water into a sticky starch syrup type substance as it leaves the mouth. The syrup is aimed for the hilt of her opponents blade in an attempt to lock it inside it's sheath, once released Maren remains on the spot and watches on.
(Suiton: Mizuame Nababara) - Water Style: Starch Syrup Capture Field
Rank: C
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user After performing the required hand seals Ram → Tiger spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand
