I just wanna start off by saying that I dont read any One Piece manga, I just watch the anime. Maybe this has been addressed in the manga and it goes against my prediction.

Now in some of the latest episodes Doflamingo and Law address that the Op-Op fruit has a special ability to revive someone from the death by taking the life of the devil fruit user. Knowing Oda and his way of work, we can conclude that this ability is going to be used in the future, either on someone dear to Law or maybe one of the Strawhats. It didnt get mentioned for no purpose, Oda has something in mind far down the road.

What do you think?

I think it will be used sometimes, after some years, when were at the end. But like I said, I dont know if Im mistaken, maybe it has been addressed in the manga.

How do you know this? Where does it state that for him to give someone immortality or a longer life that he will die, im not saying this wasnt stated, i just wanna know when/where. Alot of people are implying this but ive yet to read that is what happens when he does that surgery, how do we know he didnt do it to luffy?

Emm around chapter 760 onwards, I think.
Nvm, wiki said chapter 761. For anime version, it's just recently, the 700th episode.

OT: Ohh me personally thought Law would willingly do it on Luffy sooner or later. Idk, I always had this kinda feeling that Law might die before the series ended. However, I'm sure Luffy would refuse.
