Sorry for the delay, busy times... I might be able to reply once or twice more over the next few days before another weeks break...
So tell me about lava release and it's relation to Fire and Earth.
Then talk to me about the weaknesses and strengths of the element and Kurotsuchi's unique form of Lava. Don't worry, you'll learn normal lava and Kurotsuchi's lava. I was taught both Kurotsuchi and Dodai's Lava back when I had their bios.
So tell me about lava release and it's relation to Fire and Earth.
Then talk to me about the weaknesses and strengths of the element and Kurotsuchi's unique form of Lava. Don't worry, you'll learn normal lava and Kurotsuchi's lava. I was taught both Kurotsuchi and Dodai's Lava back when I had their bios.

1. Lava Release is an advanced nature kekkei genkai that combines fire and earth-based chakra to create lava and related substances that can serve multi-faceted purposes. It can be used to form any type of offence and defence it has great properties for both
It has many relations with fire and earth because much like Lava is good for both defensive and offensive purposes it mostly gets it offensive properties from fire and its defensive properties from earth
Strengths and Weaknesses: Lava can greatly over power Fuuton, Doton and Katon techniques wheres it greatest weakness lies in Raiton and Suiton based jutsu due to it being a combination of both Doton and Katon

1. I believe Lava is formed with the combination between earth and fire with earth being the core and fire added in that extra power, like i said Katon being th eoffensive and Doton being the defensive, Lava has many purposes and is a tricky Kekkei Genkai.
And i dont know what i was thinking when i said it over powers Fuuton wasn't really thinking much at all sorry about that sensei.
Lava is weak to lightning due to its Earth properties since Lightning > Earth it will be able to cut through 'solid' lava techniques, and i now see how it is neutral to water because of its Earth properties.
And i have no clue on its double weakness

I thought it used to have a double weakness to something, wasn't asking you to find it out xD According to the elemental weakness and strength thread, Lava is neutral to water, weak to lightning and strong against earth and fire. Also, any elemental KG that utilised lightning to create some form of energy, like Storm, is strong against Lava. Dark release is neutral to Lava and magnetism is... well I don't know O__O'
I should check that, I don't know much about magnetism.
Also not that when water hits the lava it will solidify and create a massive amount of steam and to an extent poisonous gas... the poisonous gas I'd have to also check on and see if it still applies and what it exactly does.
Most lava jutsu will be you creating lava under or on the ground, or even using lava from deep within the ground. Also remember that lava has a more dire effect on people than fire does, melting and burning through flesh much faster than fire does.
This one requires you to channel your Lava chakra into the ground in front of you, causing a wall of lave to burst up in a similar fashion to the Flame Wall jutsu.

This clone is made out of pure lava, in a similar way to the jutsu above. You direct your chakra to a point short range away from you then shape it into a clone. The clone can move but must stay within mid-range of you and can only shoot the lava streams from its arms up to mid-range. It cannot use taijutsu, kenjutsu or anything other than shooting the lava stream from it's arms for a one time thing. Shooting from both arms equals a short range stream (if aimed in two directions) and shooting in one direction equates to a mid-range stream.
What happens if your opponent makes a bad call and hits your lava clone with there fist?
I should check that, I don't know much about magnetism.

Kurotsuchi listens to his sensei's words she begins to focus both Katon chakra and Doton chakra at the same time, after struggling to maintain that for a short time she releases the chakra into the earth and within seconds a gushing wall of Lava shoots from the ground and maintains its hold until Kurotsuchi releases the jutsu.
Some advantages are: Quick to use, Easy to use, could for a quick defence where needed
Some disadvantages: Not overly powerful, can be knocked down fairly easy
Kurotsuchi places both her hands together (like naruto does with his clones) and focuses Katon chakra into the left arm and Doton into the right, after channeling the chakra together for some time she releases the chakra out just next to her, within seconds goops of lava begin to take shape into a clone of Kurotsuchi.
If the opponent decides to be stupid enough to punch my clone with their fist or any other part of their body will suffer very severe burns to the body part they attacked with

You're not trying to channel fire chakra into one arm and earth chakra into the other arm... you need to mix your chakra's and create the lava chakra 'before' it leaves your stomach. The stomach being the centre of your chakra network and where your chakra is stored.
One of my favourites back when I used Lava was the following:
You'll inject your lava chakra into the ground, turning sections of the ground into globes of lava that will fly up and hover around you for two turns. This is a good jutsu for use against those speed demons such as Swift users who can only travel in a straight line before using the jutsu to change direction... or against weight users who would need to stop momentarily to change directions in order to avoid the globes. For best effect, use this jutsu just as the opponent 'vanishes' so they can't get in close to you.
Perform it and see if you can come up with some other uses for this jutsu, as well as any downfalls you might think off.
