Chidori was never superior to Rasengan, Rasengan has always been a relitivly superior close ranged justu, and still is.

Yeah, Chidori is powerful, but Rasengan is just an overall more powerful technique. The newer forms of rasengan are vastly superior to Chidori now anyway
