Hai Noni-sensei. I was peer pressured into doing this. Sorry
(Himitsu Kibaku Fuda no Jutsu) Hidden Explosive Tags Technique
Type: Offensive
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description:
The user does a sequence of 4 hand seals (Tiger → Rat → Bird → Snake) or slams his hand on the ground or surface. Using his chakra, he is able to stream a multitude of paper tags through the ground and use his chakra to keep them hidden from sight. As they stream towards the target, they are undistinguishable from the ground, seamlessly merged with it. Nearing the target, they rise from the ground, "crawling" up the target. As they wrap themselves in lairs around the target, the user can choose when to detonate them, making a quicker, weaker detonation or waiting for more paper tags to pile in the target and adding more damage.
This right here might be the singular reason I'd want to specialize in ninjutsu, for a single handseal version of this technique xd
If I recall, Hanzo used this to cripple Nagato. I don't feel like we need to perform this, but what are some viable strategies you can think of? For me, one thing I can see myself using this for is when your target is descending from the air (from jumping back, flying, etc). When they land, the tag would immediately wrap around their leg and explode, giving them little time to react. Even better, you can do it
just before they land, cutting off jutsu options where ground contact is needed. The tags would fly up and "grab and wrap" their feet, exploding.
Let's say we're sparring. You use wind stream to dodge a technique I fire at you while you're in mid-air. Right as you land, you feel my tags wrapping around your legs. What can you do?
