well what type of operating system do you want? what type of features do you want/need? does it need to be a certain size?

we need more information about the requirements that you need.

though I would recommend a HP ultra-portable, I have one and I really enjoy it

compared to my Toshiba the HP is ultra silent. its more like if my Toshiba knocked up a netbook. It has the best of both worlds, ultralight but still has the power

I have Dell N5010 , and I am quite Satisfied with it , it has Power and is Silent but its not Ultra Portable

I'm just looking for a laptop preferably HP and 14" or smaller needs to be lite (I hate heavy laptops) and not generate too much heat

than i suggest the HP DM3 series, its the same as what I got. Its a 13.3 inch laptop, very light and doesn't create too much heat.

Toshiba is probably the best company. If you wanna cheap one, you should try looking at different varieties of netbooks
