Well as the title says. My laptop is heating up way too fast lately. A couple of months ago the fan burned up and i replaced it. It been working fine since then but now it happens again. Only this time the fan is working. Due to that the battery drain is abnormally high and as it would heat up soon, it starts lagging. Normally what i do is start the air conditioner which fixes my problems though that isn't a permanent solution. I'm guessing there is a hell lot of dust inside this thing as i barely ever bother to to clean this thing and leave it open in the room.

Now i want to know what to do really? if you guys think the problem really is dust. How should i clean it? Perhaps a vacuum cleaner near the air vents? XD I'm noob to this so i wont try dismembering it.

Take it in to someone to clean it, it shouldn't be too pricey and then get an inter-cooler for it. I had one on another laptop of mine and the laptop would stay just below warm, alot cooler compared to my new one.

Hope you get it fixed man because i've had the same problem with an acer and it ended up frying the circuit board lol
I was 12 so i couldn't get it fixed or nothing.

if u don't want to take it apart yourself then yes, get it to someone who will. if it overheats too quickly, i wouldn't use it until the issue is fixed. u risk frying your mother board if continued usage. i've killed two laptops that way XD lol. also when u take it to someone ask them how to clean it properly so that dust won't become an issue :)

now what you should do is this:
take out the battery and press the power button for like 30 seconds.
now unscrew everything and mark the screws so you know which one goes where and then carefully take it apart and figure out how it's put together on the way.
clean it real good and put it back together.

I've done it like a million times.

if you don't want to do that you might take out the battery and play without it (it will reduce the build up of heat a lot since depleting a battery produces a lot of heat)

according to your post using a vacuum will not work since there's to much dust to get out through the filter
