You are right but it was Kakahi's Jutsu in another words. If kakashi had as much as chakra as Naruto and wind element he would've got such Jutsu a long time ago with not much effort like Naruto. What I mean is a Jutsu you invented by your own self just like Kakashi. (Raikri/chidori)
Well fact is that Naruto is the only one capable of this technique nad it was his own creation not Kakashi's. Kakashi only taught him how to manipulate his chakras nature. And btw not even Minato was able to creat the Rasenshuriken.
Well who could know that he is able to use the ability of two paths at the same time? Using one of his chakra arms to hit him might have been an idea but that's basically Ninjutsu too isn't it? If you aren't in range for a taijutsu attack all you can do is Ninjutsu/Genjutsu and as he's not capable of genjutsu he had no choice pretty much.
