L3S vs 6 Paths of Pein

it would be a close fight. i don't think you guys are giving pain enough credit jiraiya may have taking down 3 but only really finished off one and he was pretty much dead when he did it. i think tsunade would have a very hard time getting close to pummel any of the paths. as much as i dont like him i think orochimaru would be the trump card with his kinjutsu. in the end the sennin would win but it would be close i think at least of them would go down

I don't know they work pretty well as a team. I think Tsunade would know her roll by healing and swinging if anyone comes close to her. She is the grand daughter of First Hokage and their clan is known to have many ablities. But yea I can see what you saying I believe she might be the one that goes down. Jman got to many abilities so does Oro.

I say the sannin would win because that teamwork that they used to have is somewhere in there still and if tsunade and jiraiya are working with orochimaru who is an enemy still they are going to be working toward a common goal (defeating pain in this instance) so I'm sure they will cooperate just fine. If they also have knowledge of the pains they will do even better as nagato said that if jiraiya knew the secrets of the six paths he would have been defeated so imagine jiraiya, tsunade, and orochimaru knowing!!. So my vote definitely goes to the Legendary SANNIN!!!

Orochimaru without his arms Vs drugged up Jiraiya was an epic display of skill and power and neither was anywhere near full power; need i say more.
Sannin win against Pein purely because only Jiraiya had any attachment to Nagato, Yahiko and Konan and wouldn't use his all. The Sannin were a team that was well balanced and extremely skilled and powerful.

It would be definetly be a close call to say the least.
Tsunade and Orochimaru cover Jiraiya while he goes into sage mode.
Once Jiraiya is in sage mode Jiraiya(Sage Mode) and tsunade engage in battle while Orochimaru prepares to use IWR.
Orochimaru uses IWR and brings out 1st and 2nd Hokages to even the odds.
Tsunade and Jiraiya falls back to come up with a plan.
Since the 1st and 2nd Hokage are there it gives the team a huge moral boost.
With Jiraiya,Orochinaru,Tsunade,1st Hokage,2nd Hokage,and Ma and Pa toads they launch an all out attack killing the revival path first followed by the summoning path followed by the Ninjutsu absorbing Path followed by the machine Path followed by the soul swallowing pain.
Then they all summon their most powerful summons Manda,Gamabunta,and Katsuyu.
The Summons attack with acid poison and oil which forces God realm to use Shinra tensei and during the 5 second interval orochimaru swallows god realm pain.
While this was going on the 1st and 2nd hokage were tracking down the real pain and found him and Konan.
So the 2nd Hokage spits on konan and renders her useless.
Nagato shoots a chakra receiver at the 1st and he puts up a wooden wall to block it and attacks back by making branches come up from the ground and restrain him.
By the time the rest of the team get there the 1st and 2nd have had their turns raping Nagato(literally) for orochimarus pleasure.Then they feast on nagatos defiled and malnourished body.

Oro and Jman has big powerful attacks too yea but pain has a better big attack.


But pain has to get away to use you. I doubt they try to give him time to use the attack

even if he had the opportunity to cast chibaku tensei on the sannins, i believe that the sannins would be able to device a way out, either by sheer force like the kyuubi did or by using whatever jutsu... i mean it should be easy for them three working together to deal with the rocks and trees trying to imprison them... lol even a simple reverse summon would do the trick in escaping the area affected by the chibaku tensei xd

Then u've got the chakra sucking pain to counter ninjutsu, the animal pain creating a ton of chaos and distractions, the push pain to throw them everywhere, the cyborg pain that creates chaos and more distractions, then you've got the reviving pain, then lastly the pain that...did stuff to the soul?

Are you sure its not too much for the three to handle...?
Pain was being slightly lax w/Naruto, since he was only capturing him, and was interested in talking to him...and Naruto had Sage Mode, which boosted his odds a lot...right xd?

Between the three of them they have hell of a lot of summons too esp jiraiya and orochimaru.

When they are being sucked up by Chibaku tensei jiraiya will summon three toads for tsunade and orochimaru and they will jump far out of the range of the jutsu and with Nagato's chakra drained the bodies fall dead "again" and they proceed to rape nagato the real one like in my previous post.

if they're all in their prime, and got along, then the 3 sannin. but if they have the same feelings towards each other as normal, and were only working together to kill pein, it would be really close, and i might even go as far as to say that their lack of teamwork would lead to their downfall to pein. Naruto literally defeated all six single-handedly, Jiraiya knew Nagato best, and therefor could figure out his fighting style based on what he knows/the emotional reasoning behind his fighting and stop it with emotion. Oro probably knows a bit about the rinnegan, and Tsunade's just there to heal, and possibly to keep the paths at a distance when they're not wanted. but could you imagine Sage Mode Jiraiya, White Snake Orochimaru, and Tsunade with her cell regenerating jutsu in effect working together perfectly against anyone, let alone the six paths of pein!?!? increadable.
