(Note this is a prequal to a future work I am going to do. As always my other fanfics are in the sig, but now I can't edit it and I have to now post updates so for further chapters just check for my updates in the lower section of that thread. This will be a relativly short fanfic and will pave the way for a future fanfic in which one of the main characters will return.

Chapter 1: Legends lost to history.
Koden Hyuga and Saimen Uchiha were standing out in front of the Hokage mansion. As usual I was running in a miserable atempt to not be late. I ran up to my two teammates, I was exhausted from my long run from the other side of the village. I looked up to see Ryuu sensei. The high level Jonin sat in a tree above the door to the mansion. The man who was said to be the third hokage if he wasn't such a free spirit.
"What took you so long, Kyuu? Why must you always be so late?" asked Ryuu sensei with a sarcastic tone.
"You know I have to get here from the oposite side of the village. And stop calling my 'Kyuu'! My name is Kyuuketsuki! Kyuuketsuki Kagami!" I snapped back.
"Nobody is going to call you that. Your name is just too long. Besides, everybody in the village calls you Kyuu," Saimen giggled in her usual mocking way. I can't believe I used to have a thing for her. She always mocked me. I like her as a friend. But sometimes she can just be so annoying. She is from the famed Uchiha clan and is considered to be the prodigy of her era. She unlocked a three tamoa sharingan at the mere age of six and to the surprise of the entire Uchiha clan, unlocked the Mangekyou sharingan by putting herself into a genjutsu and making herself believe all of her loved ones died. To think she has such powerful eyes at the mere age of 16 is beyond amayzing.
"Come on Kyuu, do you always have to be so miserable. Lighten up," chirped in Koden Hyuga. He was like Saimen. He is from the main branch of the Hyuga and is considered to be a prodigy. He is one of the best sensors in the clan and even mastered rotation and the 64 palms at the age of 10. He is called 10-handed Koden because his hands are so fast and powerful that he looks like he has 10 hands when attacking.
"All right children. Lord Hokage wants to see us," Ryuu sensei finally stopped us. We all went inside. We went straight up to the office of Lord second. When we walked in, Saimen lunged right forward.
"Alright Lord Hokage! Give us our A-Rank mission so we can be on our way," she blurted.
Lord Second was not surprised by the outburst or the demand as Saimen was often impulsive. Despite that only a few months ago we passed the Chunnin exam, we often got A-Rank missions. In fact we even had a few A-rank when we were Genin. After we passed the Chunnin exam with flying colors, clients always made requests for us when it came to major and important missions. One time Seiman was even asked to acompany the Hokage on an S-rank but Ryuu sensei believed that she should stay back and wait.
"It is very unusual for a Chunin to barge into the Hokage office and demand an A-rank mission," Lord Second replied calmly.
"We have had 4 A-ranks this week. What else could it be?" Saimen replied in her usual annoyed tone.
"Actually, Lord Hokage requested you come here for a special mission," Ryuu sensei said.
"I have called you here because you are the probably the greatest shinobi other then my brother and Madara Uchiha to ever grace the village. Your skill is beyond that of any other your age. You became Chunin a year before the others of your class. You are at the top of your class for Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, weapons and overall combat, strategy and intellectual skill. The proctors of the Chunnin exam wanted to promote you before you even finished the forrest of death. You had perfect scores on your written exam and got through the forrest without a scratch. Not only are you all strong by yourselves, but your teamwork is beyond anything else we have ever seen. I found it wrong to put you in separate teams. I had to keep you together despite that we normally split up the top tier. I believe all of you have an oprotunity to become Hokage someday," Lord second said.
"Yes, Lord Hokage, we already know that but why are we here?" Koden asked.
"I want to test your ability. I want you to come to the Chunnin exam stadium tomarrow. I will take you all on one by one to see if I can entrust the will of fire to you all one day,"
"We have to fight you alone?" I asked. Saimen chuckled. "What is the matter with you?" I asked.
"You are going to get slaughtered!" she blurted almost falling over from laughing.
"What is that supposed to mean?" I asked.
"Come on Kyuu, between the three of us you are the weakest," Koden said.
Not only did they give me a nickname I hated, but they also constantly made fun of my abilities. All three of us have Kekkei Genki. Seimen has her sharingan, Koden has his Byakugan. But I have an elemental Kekkei Genki. I combine Earth and Fire to make glass. Glass style allows me to create glass and mirrors. Koden but more specifically Saimen always put me down, saying that my Kekkei genki was not as good.
"Children!" Lord Hokage lifted his voice and we all got quiet. "You are teammates and you should respect each other. You are all very skilled reguardless. I am confident in all of you. Now go home and get some rest. You have a long day tomarrow," Hokage finsished and we walked off to go home. Ryuu stayed with the Hokage and they started talking. Koden and Saimen went ahead of me. I had no reason to follow them so I was going to walk with sensei. Then I heard it.
"Do you really think this is necesarry, Lord Hokage?" Ryuu said.
"I am sure. If they even get a hint of betrayal in them, we have to be prepared. I got the mission report from the last mission they went on. Saimen put an entire army under a genjutsu and used them to help secure the target. She will be difficult to beat if the Uchiha ever take Madara's advice and try to overthrow Konoha," Hokage replied.
"I know why you kept them together as squad 7 rather then letting them go independantly. They are easier to control that way. Am I right?"
"It is a necesarry step. One group is easier to control then three seperate entities. Also I keep them with you. You are also a prodigy. You are an Uzumaki and therefor, the only jutsu that could stop them are your sealing jutsu, my space-time Ninjutsu and maybe Edo Tensei if I perfect it. For now we will keep them together. And tomarrow I will humiliate them with my full power and be sure that they cannot win. Then they will not dare try to overthrow the village." Hokage said before I ran down the hall.
I ran out of the building before being blindsided by Saimen who glared at me with her sharingan. My body froze up and I could not move.
"Ha, I told you Koden, You owe my dumplings. I knew I could get him in a genjutsu before he realized what hit him," Saimen chuckled as Koden sat on a nearby wall laughing. They ran off to go get dumplings. Angry I ran home.
