Chapter 9: Running from the Inevitable
"Raiton: False Darkness!" Saimen screamed as a massive lightning bolt flew at me. I held my ground. The bolt struck me, but bounced off. It hit the ground behind me.
"How?" She asked.
"I thought the great prodigy would know that glass doesn't conduct electricity," I jeered back.
"Damn, fine then. Katon: Tremendous fire dragon!" She screamed as the massive dragon-shaped fire moved towards me.
"Suiton: Water dragon Jutsu!" I said as a dragon of water flew at the other dragon. They colided and both turned to steam. She stood there in awe.
"Since when can you use water?" She asked.
"Through my vampire technique I can steal nature elements, kekkei genki, dojutsu, Hidden techniques, any technique the victim knew as well as take any unique chakra properties of the victim. Through this method, I have aquired many kekkei genki, hidden jutsu, and all 5 nature elements," I answered. I performed some handsigns. "This is one of many techniques I possess, Gas style: Paralysing cloud!" I said as I breathed out a purple cloud that enveloped Saimen. She couphed and fell to her knees as her body went numb.
I went over to her and prepared to bite into her neck. Suddenly she disipeared and re-appeared behind me. Her left eye slowly closed and opened again.
"There goes your second Izanagi already. All I have to do is pin you down 10 more times. That last technique I stole from a militant of Amegakure. This next one I got from a spy from Takigakure, Presure release: targeted presure increase," I said as the air preasure increased, forcing her to her knees. She began to scream as the air preasure crushed her. I ran trying to catch her before she used Izanagi. But I was too late as once again she disipeared and re-appeared in another location.
"I will not let you make a fool of me!" she screamed as she covered her eyes with her hands. "I will show you the power of an Uchiha. Mangekyou Sharingan!" She yelled as she pulled her hand away from her face. Her sharingan changed. They were red with four black circles that overlapped over the center pupil. "Amaterasu!" she yelled. I jumped as the place where I once stood was enveloped in black flames. I looked at her. She pointed at me with her index finger before even turning to face me. Her left eye was bleeding severely.
"You have already lost. After all those years analysing me, you should know that I use Amaterasu with my right eye, not my left. I put you in a Tsukuyomi from the start and made you believe I tried to attack with Amaterasu," she said in a mocking way.
"Oh you think that. Well, I admit you got me. But I was prepared from the start. I knew that with the Mangekyou in play, I had two threats to worry about. Your ultimate Genjutsu, Tsukuyomi and your ultimate ninjutsu: Amaterasu. I knew that if I got hit by either then I would be done. But I found a way to get around both. I turned my eyes into a two way mirror," I said calmly.
"I see what you did. You wanted to reflect my genjutsu back on myself, but you knew that shielding your eyes meant I could hit you with Amaterasu while you were blind. So you made your eyes into a two way mirror. When I look into them, it is reflected. But when you look through them and see me," she replied, frustrated.
"If you used Amaterasu, I would see it. But if you used Tsukuyomi, you would get me. But you would get yourself too. Once we were both sealed in Tsukuyomi, if you try to torture me, you will torture yourself too. If you release yourself, I will be free too. I have made you ultimate Genjutsu worthless," I said. After a moment, I felt the Genjutsu being cancelled.
"I also know that you never fully mastered aiming or using Amaterasu, and the best Susanoo you can make is the Ribcage. Using them would only waste your chakra and move you towards loosing your light," I said. She grunted and her Sharingan returned to normal.
She pulled out her kunai and charged me, but before she could get close, I called out my jutsu, "glass style:Glass spear wall." Several spears of glass came up from the ground and impaled Saimen through the stomach. She disipeared and re-appeared on the other side of the room. Before she could react, I threw a glass spear that impaled her through the heart. Again she disipeared and re-appeared. Before her feet even touched the ground I created a massive plume of lava that consumed her before her body disipeared again.
When she re-appeared, her body fell to the floor. I watched as her sharingan eye turned pitch black and her eyelid shut, the light in that eye gone forevor.
"It seems you have lost an eye. I only have to pin you six more times now," I said as I aproached her, holding a glass spear.
Not even sitting up, she began begging, " No...please....stop. I will...do anything. Please stop."
"I have never seen an Uchiha give such a cowardly reaction," I jeered.
"I don't want to lose my eye. Take my blood and leave me," she said.
Accepting her offer, I picked her up by her hair and bit into her neck. I drank my fill as sharingan appeared in my eyes. I dropped her to the ground, and quickly struck her across the side of the head, knocking her unconscious.
I moved to get out of the cave, but suddenly the walls and cieling began to collapse. I used my doton: Earth defense to escape being crushed. I looked up into the sky, it was now night time. Ryuu sensei and Koden stood on the ground above me. Perfect.
"Perfect Genjutsu: Symphony of the night!" I called out as the two men fell to their knees. I jumped up and drank from both of them. My left sharingan became a byakugan and I felt my chakra resevoir growing larger and filling with massive chakra.
I began to walk out of the village. Civilians locked their doors and Anbu backed away. I almost made it to the gate when suddenly I was met with another familiar face.
"Lord Tobirama," I called out as the Hokage prepared for battle.
