Chapter 3: Symphony of the Night
Saimen walked up to Lord Second. Her eyes were both 3 tamoe sharingan and she glared at Lord Tobirama.
"Are you ready, Lord Hokage?" the young uchiha girl asked. He simply knodded and held out a kunai. The two of them simply stood in place. Neither of them moved. They stared into each others eyes.
"Saimen already has Lord Hokage in a genjutsu," I said quietly. Koden and Ryuu sensei knodded silently. A few moments went by before Saimen fell to one knee. Lord Hokage stood up.
"Impressive, Lord Hokage. Breaking ten overlapping genjutsu is no easy feat. I almost had you," Saimen said as she tried to catch her breath.
"I read the reports. You often use basic sharingan genjutsu but place multiple genjutsu over top of each other to make your victims believe they are trapped in the unbreakable tsukuyomi. But it did not work," Lord Second replied. Saimen jumped back.
"I see that basic genjutsu are not enough. I didn't want to use these so quick but I have no choice," Saimen said as she closed her left eye. "I will use my special genjutsu to defeat you. I have three unique genjutsu that only I can use. One in my right eye, one in my left, and one by using both at the same time. Secret Genjutsu: Fear of Shadows!"
"Fear of Shadows" is one of Saimen's favorite Genjutsu. It literally freezes the target by placing their body under a genjutsu but not interfering with their senses. Leaving the oponent paralysed.
Lord Hokage shielded his eyes trying to avoid the genjutsu, but Saimen was above him, performing handsigns and yelling, "Katon: Tremendous Fireball!" A massive inferno escaped her lips and surrounded the Hokage. A wall of water surrounded him and the two jutsu cancelled each other out.
"To think her Jutsu was strong enough to match Lord Tobirama's water wall despite that fire is weak to water," said Ryuu sensei.
When the steam disipeared, Saimen was on top of Lord Hokage and was pinning him to the ground, forcing him to make eye contact she announced her attack, "Secret Genjutsu: Fear of Shadows." Lord Hokage's body visibly locked up. Saimen stood up, turned her back and walked away. She stopped when a burst of water whizzed past her black hair, cutting off a few strands. She looked back to see Lord Second's body turn to water. Her attention focused to the real Lord Second who stood before her. "You are lucky that was a clone. If it was really you, you would still be trapped in a genjutsu."
"I've heard that your special genjutsu are very difficult to escape, but you should never take your eyes off of your oponent," Lord Second replied. Saimen closed her right eye and opened her left.
"Noted...Secret Genjutsu: Melody of Maddness!" She yelled, stunning Lord Hokage and casting her genjutsu. Melody of Maddness was a genjutsu that caused an eternally looping song to play in the victims head. At first it has no effect. But after a few minutes it begins to disorient them, making them dissy and delaying their senses and reflexes. Until nausia and eventually non-existant pain in the ears start to set in. Saimen often used it as a method of torture.
Hokage rushed her but lost his balance and nearly stumbled. He tried to catch his breath and moved to attack Saimen. She dodged his attack easily as she tripped the once mighty Hokage. He stumbled and fell to the ground. Saimen looked at him in the eye. She opened both of her eyes.
"I would normally end it at this. But you dragged out my best genjutsu. I am going to give you a proper finally. Forbidden Genjutsu: Symphony of the Night!"
The Hokage's eyes went dark and he began screaming. He gripped his throat with his hand and began to strangle himself. Symphony of the Night is by far her most terrifying Genjutsu. So terrible that she rarely uses it on the enemy. It targets both mind and body and uses the abilities of both of the previous genjutsu. It causes the victim to appear in a terrible nightmare world where any harm that becomes of them in their world, happens for real. Ryuu jumped down and forced Saimen to the ground.
"CALL OF THE GENJUTSU! YOU ARE KILLING THE HOKAGE!!!" Ryuu sensei screamed. Saimen simply laughed and snapped her fingers. The Hokage returned to normal and sat up as he gagged for breath. After a few moments he stood.
"Saimen. I recomend you never use that on a comrade of Konoha again. It is dangerous to use such a powerful genjutsu. As for the rest of you. Return tomarrow. I must rest," Hokage said as he walked out of the stadium. Ryuu simply glared at Saiman, sighed and went home. Koden followed him. Saimen looked at me.
"Sorry Kyuu. Looks like you have to take on the Hokage at full power. Try not to get ripped to pieces," Saimen said before leaving. Terrified and disgusted by the performance I saw. I went home to continue my 'project'.
