Anyway, I dislike KM/BM mode regardless of it's anime depiction. So this doesn't annoy me

I believe they'll just get lazy halfway through and change it to something more suitable in favour of making it easier to animate, instead of the epic fiery effect.

It looks better than I thought it would look. And honestly you have to keep in mind this was not an episode with Sakuga Animation (the REALLY good animation), so that may be why the Chakra Mode cloak doesn't look that spectacular, even though I think it looks very nice, but you have your opinion and I respect that.

In my opinion. It sucks. I'll have to spend so many anime releases looking at the suckish design of this cloak. I have never been this turned off since Tobi's mask didn't break from the headbutt. My eyes hurt from looking at it, the focal point is simply too bright. I hope the Bijuu Mode isn't a fail. (remember, my opinion) Well, time for me to switch completely to One Piece.

Thats how he is in storm: generations, hence thats how KISHI wanted it. it looks just fine, he looks ****ing awesome, you cant assume he's gonna look exactly like some fan colored page.

I agree, the cloak sucks, it looked much better in the manga (when we saw it colored).

To me, the cloak in the anime looks like something out of a video game. Naruto doesn't really seem like he's there or isn't part of the foreground; get what I mean? Anyway, I agree, its baaaaad.

I really don't think it was that bad. Sure it could of ben toned down a little so it wasn't so bright. But, It was still pretty good.
