i agree, reason being yes the kyuubis has had not only its chkra halfed, but its soul. the death reaper rips the soul from the body. and the kyuubi actually decreased in size GREATLY , i actually think the kyuubi will be smaller than hachibi , and by assumption ...weaker in strength.
to the people disagreeing, think of it this way: the bijuus power is measure in tails correct. the kyuubi originally had 9/10 <-denominator being the total(juubi). then if that was halfed it will be 4.5/10 . if your saying that the kyuubi is still stronger than the hachibi after having its self halved; then your basically saying the kyuubi strength is nearly double what the hachibi has, at first glance its ok but it would mean the hachibi has double what the 7 tails has and then the 7 tails has double what the 6 tails does and so on and so on. THIS doesnt make sense because the five tails was clearly able to put up a good fight against the 8 tails like the gap between power was small.

People didn't the kyuubi say after him in strenggvth was Ichibi, so what are you saying about him(kyuubi) nt been the strongest tail. And if tails didn't matter naruto and killer b will loss to the other tails whether or nt the 9tail agrees with naruto...

The fox has been sealed in TWO hosts already before naruto.... Taking minato's words , and your logic about the fox being unable to recover his chakra -_- then
To seal it in mito , 50% had to be taken away, leaving the fox at 50%
Then to seal it in kushina another 50 % , leaving the fox at 25 .....
Now naruto , 50 % , 12.5.....
This either means the fox has truly has some sort of UNLIMITED amount of chakra
OR the fox recovers his chakra just like any other ninja or thing.....

where the FUUUUCK did you get that BULLSHIIT. the only advise i can give you is...go and re-read/watch the whole series because if u can get something like that messed up then u could of gotten everything else messed up.

That is completely and utterly incorrect(what the OP said) so I used basic math to prove him wrong. I still think that 50% Kyuubi>Hachibi.

What's up with this and kyuubi power, his chakra was sealed in naruto wasn't it, so sayin he has only half of the kyuubi power is wrong, after all isn't it by the amount of chakra a person has that determine there strength and the kyuubi has infinite chakra if I recall correctly. Most likely the other half is the 9tails body, just like the juubi

In theory you might be correct, but there is a lot of things that are messed up about the kyuubi's power.
The biggest thing is the size of the kyuubi. It is shown that after minato sealed the yin kyuubi chakra, the kyuubi shrunk considereably.
Later, when the kyuubi breaks out of chibaku tensei, it is about the same size as it was BEFORE minato sealed the yin half.
Because of this it is really uncertain until the next chapters clear it up.
