AppearanceKuzan is an incredibly tall man, towering over almost all people. His standard outfit consists of a white button-up vest over a long-sleeved navy blue shirt and matching white pants and shoes. He also wears a yellow tie divided geometrically by black lines and a sleep mask on his forehead. Kuzan also wears, on occasion, a white coat which he drapes over him like a cape. He also is seen wearing a green and purple sleep mask at all times.
PersonalityKuzan is a very laid back man, showing no shock or surprise from almost anything. His lack of interest and lazy justice (as he describes his motto himself) let others often believe he can not possibly be a shinobi of such a high ranking. Kuzan is also a very just man, showing remorse for enemies on multiple occasions and is a man who will never go back on his word.
His moral stance is unknown, but it's been suggested in past times that he hold a stance of "moral justice", doing what he feels is right, instead of whatever he's told to. An example of this is when he saved an orphan from death when he was ordered to kill everyone.

Hidden Mist: Due to living the entirety of his life almost solely in Kirigakure he has trained his eyesight to be accustomed to the mist. Being able to see much more clearly than non-Kirigakure shinobi in the mist.
Silent Killing: Since Zabuza was one of his role models he began to train his sense of hearing so that he could hear people's movements in the mist. With his mist mastery he is able to use his hearing in order to pinpoint a person's location in the mist, much like Zabuza.
Water: Due to his mastery of the water element he is able to perform all water techniques with a single hand seal. The element being a part in the ice KG grants familiarity and is his first elemental affinity.
Earth: Due to his mastery in the element of earth he is able to due hand seals for earth jutsu much quicker than normal, but this doesn't allot him to do so in less hand seals.

Background HistoryKuzan was born in Kirigakure, during the midst of a war. His parents were driven to protect him during the war for as long as they could so he could grow up without being hurt. This war grew on for many years, with Kuzan having witness slaughter right before his eyes. Despite being in the middle of the war grounds, Kuzan had not much to do but sit and wait for the war to die over. This is how he developed his personality of being lazy.
His parents who had spent years nourishing and protecting him had died at the hand of some ruthless ninja. Kuzan was 4 years old at the time, and having witnessed this foul ordeal, he swore by his life to do anything which was right by him, and not let anyone push him around. With no one to protect him, he was forced to leave Kirigakure, and to fend for himself.
After some time with travelling from place to place, he came across a snowy land. Having hailed from Kirigakure, he was used to the cold and grew used to it, ending up liking it in the end. It was in this land on the outskirts of Kirigakure that he began to realize that he could use the forbidden KG of Ice. He realized that his entire life he had felt comfortable in the cold, as if his chakra itself were cold, and now he understood why. In this snowy wasteland he learned how to control his powers and later went back to Kiri to become a formidable shinobi.
He still lives in Kirigakure today and continues to hone his skills.
