Now this jutsu, you are required to form four handseals, you will channel your chakra into the ground and create a large amount of rock pillars to rise from underground. The pillars are formed around the target and can create a bamboo like prison made of rock. With this logic, it is very useful for a trapping a target and keeping them in check to chain in an extra attack.

Now then this jutsu is first activated by striking your hands together, channeling your chakra to manipulate the ground infront of them to form a slab of earth which tilts upwards at 90 degree angle. It creates a wall of earth that can defend from front based attacks. With this you can also create an extra two slabs of earth that could rise and tilt create an opening on the ground. This can be done to create a clear path from anything hazardous from above the ground in that specific area. This can really help in terms of keeping poisonous jutsu for example from reaching to you.

Performing the technique:

I start by gathering my chakra and molding it into earth chakra. I weave the handseals Rat → Horse → Dog → Snake. I stream my chakra into the ground beneath my own feet. In front of me, a group of rock pillars pertrude from the ground, rising up rapidly. I let my chakra flow through the pillars and move them into a circle around my opponents. I imprison them together in a tight space created by the pillars, and that’s when I make my escape from the battle.

Advantages:

  • This jutsu makes for a good finishing technique because you can use it to trap your opponents and take the opportunity to get away.
  • This jutsu can also be included in a combo because you could trap your opponents and then do whatever you wanted to them while they’re trapped.
  • This jutsu has a relatively short list of handseals, making it easy and quick to perform.
Disadvantages:

  • This jutsu is only short to mid-ranged, so anyone outside of the jutsu’s range wouldn’t be affected.
  • This jutsu still has a list of handseals, so an opponent could use a jutsu requiring no handseals and avoid this jutsu.
  • This jutsu doesn’t cause any damage, so it would have to be followed up by another jutsu unless your intention is to escape.
Combination Strategies:

Once i trap my opponents inside the the prison i could use Earth Release: Stone Spikes to kill them all.

How to defend from the technique:

Perhaps Earth Release: World Shaking because if I’m familiar with this technique and I can foresee it, then I can disturb the earth where the user is trying to create the pillars and break it apart. That would prevent the pillars from being made.

Performing the technique:

I gather my chakra and mold it into earth chakra quickly. As my opponent’s jutsu heads toward me, I slam my hands onto the ground and channel my chakra into the earth beneath them. A huge slab of earth rises up like a trap door directly in front of me. My opponent’s jutsu comes into contact with the wall of earth and disperses.

Advantages:

  • This jutsu has no handseals required, making it very quick and easy to perform.
  • This jutsu can either be used to defend against frontal attacks or clear a path over a hazardous area.
  • This jutsu would be good to use in a combination because the user could defend themselves from an oncoming attack and then attack while the opponent is finishing their attack.
Disadvantages:

  • This jutsu only defends the user from frontal attacks, so an opponent could easily attack from the sides, behind, or above.
  • This jutsu is only short-ranged, so an opponent outside of the jutsu’s range won’t be affected at all.
  • This jutsu causes no damage, so the user would have to follow up with a damage-causing technique.
Combination Strategies:

Honestly there are numerous combinations with this jutsu. It really depends on the situation!

How to defend from the technique:

I could use Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique to get behind the user and attack them while they’re focused on maintaining the wall in front of them.

Using your hand to raise it into the air, you can merge water with the mud and create more mud to fall unto the target. The added water increases the power and speed of the jutsu.

By utilizing earth-chakra, the person can stealthily emerge from the ground without disrupting the ground around him. The disadvantage with this technique is that merging with the ground is rather slow and while perfomring the technique, the user is vulnerable to high ranked Earth techniques. The user isn't hidden from doujutsu or sensory ninjas and cannot travel beyond the 3 meter deep mark. Moving around in the ground is slow and the user cannot sense very well what is happening above


Now this is a very useful jutsu but its very risky to use. First you must utilize your chakra into the ground and begin to merge to the ground. Using your earth chakra, you can move around the ground in the ground silently without disrupting the ground. The disadvantages are pretty much that the technique in general is slow compared to the move :Hiding like a mole. It takes time to merge with the ground, and your wide open to earth techniques that revolve with changing the terrain. You cant hide from ninjas with sensory or dojutsu and you can only go 3 meters deep. Overall it’s a run down version of hiding like mole imo.

Performing the technique:

I raise my hand into the air, focusing my chakra into my core and creating doton chakra. As I release my chakra, I summon mud from the ground beneath me, and the more chakra I put into it, the more the mud starts to flow like a river. It heads toward my opponents rapidly. One of them is swept up and carried away by the mud river.

Advantages:

  • This jutsu can be used concurrently with a suiton technique because the water would increase the mud’s flow and power.
  • This jutsu can be used with a katon technique as well because with the addition of fire, the mud would turn into lava.
  • This jutsu is anywhere from short to long-ranged, so an opponent would have a hard time evading this jutsu.
Disadvantages:

  • Since it seems like this is a streaming technique, this jutsu would require extra focus to maintain, so it might be hard to use in a combination.
  • This jutsu also requires a hand to be in the air, making it harder for the user to move on to another technique, especially one with hand-seals.
  • This jutsu sounds pretty straightforward, so it might be difficult for the user to control the flow of the river of mud. If that’s the case, this jutsu wouldn't be so flexible to use in a fight.
Combination Strategies:

I can use (Suiton: Mizurappa) to make the jutsu even more powerful!

How to defend from the technique:

Maybe Earth Release: Earth Shore Return? The user would be protected by the wall of earth, and the river of mud would just go around the wall. Also Raiton: Raiton Heki might work as well.

Performing the technique:

I focus on the chakra moving throughout my entire body and make doton chakra. I start to sink into the ground and merge into the earth. I keep the flow of my chakra strong and smooth until I’m fully underground. I can’t tell how much my opponents have moved, but I have to trust that my clones kept them relatively in the same position. I move that way and begin to resurface.

Advantages:

  • Ninjas who aren't sensors or dojutsu users would have a hard time finding the user because the user literally merges with the ground itself and is hard to detect.
  • This jutsu is extremely stealthy because, unlike Hiding Like a Mole, this jutsu doesn't disturb the ground around the user, so they can sneak up on their opponents silently.
  • This jutsu requires no hand-seals, which is an advantage over other jutsus that do require hand-seals.
Disadvantages:

  • Merging with the ground using this jutsu is rather slow, and moving through the ground is slow as well.
  • The user can’t sense what’s going on above them while using this jutsu, and sensory ninja as well as dojutsu users can find the user.
  • The user is vulnerable to higher-ranked doton techniques not only because the ground can be broken apart or disturbed, but the user wouldn't be able to see the doton technique coming.
Combination Strategies:

I could use (Doton: Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu) after using (Doton: Dochū Eigyo no Jutsu) and then kill my opponent.

How to defend from the technique:

Jumping on a tree branch. I could use (Doton: Kaido Shōkutsu) to bring forth everything thats hiding underneath the earth!

The length, width, direction, and curve of the chasm are all up to the user. Manipulating the Dragon Veins requires fine chakra control, but if one has such skill, they can use this technique to divide the space between the enemy and their own team in two, destroy enemy camps or defences, and even to attack.
Note: This does not split the earth appart directly to cause opponents to fall in the fissure.

First, I want you to channel you chakra around your hands , while doing so, perform the hand seals Rabbit → Boar → Rat → Horse → Tiger → Snake. After you do so, I want you to slam your hands on the ground, causing the mass amount of chakra you gathered to be released into the ground. This chakra is channeled directly under the target, and using your shape manipulation, I want you to tear the ground open, causing a chasm to form, by rising the ground around the target in opposite directions. The center point between the chasms will then split open. This jutsu’s power is determined by the factors of the user’s: chakra control. They have to power to make this jutsu even stronger than normal, but since you’re not at A-Rank, you can only use the C-Rank version for now.

I want you to repeat the same thing again, except now you will only perform the snake hand seal. After you do this, slam your hands on the ground again, this time now using your chakra, I want you to rupture the ground, causing mass amounts of earth rubble to overturn onto the battle field. The up turned rubble can be used for multiple purposes, including surprise attacks, distractions or even as a defense against other earth techniques.

I’m faced with a group of opponents, and they are at short range from me. One of them starts by using a fire technique. That’s when I gather my chakra and mold it into doton chakra. I weave the handseals Rabbit, Boar, Rat, Horse, Tiger, and Snake before slamming my hands onto the ground in front of me. I release my chakra through my hands and down into the earth in front of me. An enormous section of the ground rises up, defending me from the fire technique. Once the fire has dispersed, I use my chakra to split the section of earth into two.

Advantages:

  • This jutsu has flexible uses in battle, both offensive and defensive, such as attacking and destroying enemy defenses or separating the enemies from one another.
  • This jutsu is also very flexible itself, in that the length, width, direction, and curve are all designated by the user.
  • This jutsu is anywhere from C to A-ranked, so depending how much chakra and power the user puts into it, this jutsu could be pretty formidable.
Disadvantages:

  • This jutsu has a list of hand-seals, which means that this jutsu would take slightly longer to perform.
  • This jutsu is either short or long ranged; there is no in between. So, a user at mid range from their enemy would be hard pressed to use this technique.
  • This jutsu probably wouldn't work as a finishing technique because the earth wouldn't be split apart directly to cause the enemies to fall within.
Combination Strategies:

I can use (Suiton: Suishu Gorugon) to make the jutsu even more powerful!

How to defend from the technique:

Earth Release: World Shaking, so that the earth would be disturbed, and the user wouldn't be able to use this technique.

I need to know more combos for this jutsu. Maybe, if the enemies did happen to be caught within the opening of this technique, then could the user close this technique on the enemies, crushing them!

I concentrate on the chakra flowing throughout my body, specifically my hands. I mold my chakra into doton chakra and weave the Snake hand-seal. I then slam my right hand onto the ground, causing the earth to break apart and large chunks of rubble to shoot up. My opponent is thrown off balance and distracted.

Advantages:

  • This jutsu only requires one hand-seal and a quick motion (the user slamming their hand). So, this jutsu is fast and easy to perform.
  • This jutsu has multiple uses in battle, whether it be supplementary, offensive, or defensive, so this jutsu is very flexible to use.
  • This jutsu can destroy enemy earth techniques of equal rank and below, so a user could perform this jutsu to stop an oncoming earth attack or break through an earth defense.
Disadvantages:

  • This jutsu is only short to mid-ranged, so an opponent who is out of range or who could easily move out of range can avoid this technique.
  • This jutsu might not be useful to use on earth that is already broken up or it could be a bad idea to use this jutsu on earth that is already broken up.
  • This jutsu wouldn't be able to damage or destroy an enemy earth technique that is ranked higher.
Combination Strategies:

I'll probably use it first to distract the opponent, if the rubble pops out in front of him, for a moment his focus would be there, then just immediately follow up with an attack say earth spikes from behind, that way, he would mistake the vibration as the spikes emerge to be due to the initial technique.

How to defend from the technique:

Obviously there's no need to defend, but instead, I'd go offensive, forcing the enemy to rather switch to the defence. I would say Water Pillar Thrust to get myself off of the ground and be able to locate the user of this jutsu. That way, I wouldn't be injured or distracted by his/her technique

Well to your question about Earth Flow Divide, from my eyes it kind of hard to come up with combos fro my end <.< cause Im not into Earth Release so much, BUT ill try to the best of my ability. From the first point of view in the jutsu, it creates to large sections of earth to rise from the ground in a arched shaped , and the process causes the ground within to ear open naturally.

Now going off this, my first thought is “block all means of escape”. This creates a window of opportunity to prevent them from going. Now how id go about it, depends on how the try to initially get out. Flying upwards, id counter with jutsu like : Earth Dropping Lid, Food Cart Destroyer etc. Techniques that produce a substance or summons a path blocker in the line of path with my target.

Now prior to use the jutsu, you can trap them in a Genjutsu which causes them to be paralyzed. In most cases , use one that only requires a single seal or two, to allow you to chain in the attack quickly as well. This leaves them at the mercy of falling into the hole by the time they wake up from the Genjutsu. Another combo which pertains to the same thing is moves that restrict movement, Like Starchy Syrup. It can prevent them from using any hand seals, along with it wrapped around them, if they try to use lightning, they can shock themselves in the process if a good lightning technique isn’t pick in the process

Now we move onto the next two. I want you to tell me literally everything you can think of when I post each technique, then ill give my own input on each one after you. So let’s proceed.

Description: After performing the snake → Seal of Confrontation and then by encasing their arm in rock, the user can deal a powerful hardened punch against an opponent while being protected from direct contact with their target. If necessary, the weight of the rock can be increased to further increase the punch's destructive power through the Earth Release: Added Weight Technique or the Earth Release: Super Added Weight Technique.

Performing the technique:

I concentrate on the chakra flowing through my system and focus a portion of it into my right arm. I then mold my chakra into doton chakra and weave the handseals Snake and Seal of Confrontation. Almost immediately, earth forms around my right arm, and it becomes encased by the earth as it hardens into rock. I thrust my arm forward and form my hand into a fist, punching my opponent right in the gut. The impact is substantial, in that it sends him back to mid range.

Advantages:

  • This jutsu can be used to gain an upper hand against a taijutsu opponent because the user can deal a more powerful punch and be protected from contact with the opponent.
  • This jutsu can be enhanced by Earth Release: Added Weight Technique and Super Added Weight Technique, making the punch even stronger.
  • This jutsu has a relatively short list of handseals, so it would be quick and easy to perform.
Disadvantages:

  • This jutsu is only short ranged, so an opponent who is outside of that range or could easily move out of range won’t be affected by this technique.
  • This jutsu carries a risk against an opponent who uses ration techniques because not only can the rock around the user’s arm be broken (and the user’s arm be extremely hurt), but then the user would be close enough to be electrocuted by the opponent.
  • If the user decides to enhance this jutsu with the Earth Release: Added Weight Technique or Super Added Weight Technique, then the opponent might have an opening to attack the user before he/she can even perform this jutsu.
Combination Strategies:

As already stated this would work great in conjunction with taijutsu. You could also use it to punch your way out of a imprisonment or to disperse a water bullet. Combinations with this jutsu are really limited as it's a very straight forward technique. It's essentially a strong punch. Or when the user comes right at me, I’d use Wind Release: Great Vacuum Cannon to blow the user backwards and away from me. That way, he/she wouldn't come into contact with the punch.

How to defend from the technique:

The ideal way to counter this tech is to avoid it and then counter. You can't free form dodge but you can use a stream to push yourself away. If you have time for this will depend on how heavy the rock is. A D rank lightning tech could counter this jutsu if you wanted to face it directly. You can also use world shaking and make your opponent stumble and lose their balance.

I've created a tunnel, and I use it to get away.

Advantages:

  • This jutsu is anywhere from short to long-ranged, so it’s flexible for use at any distance from an opponent.
  • This jutsu could be used as a good opportunity for escape or stealth missions because the user could possibly get away undetected.
  • This jutsu has a fairly short list of hand-seals, so it can be quick and easy to perform.

  • While this jutsu has a range of short to long, the initial entry of the technique is short range, so if the user wanted to trap his/her opponents, he/she would have to be short range from them.
  • This jutsu doesn't cause any damage, so unless it’s being used to escape, the user should follow up with a damaging technique to hurt his/her opponent.
  • This jutsu has a short list of hand-seals, but an opponent could still manage to perform a technique not requiring hand-seals or use taijutsu to attack the user before this jutsu is used.
Combination Strategies:

As already stated a number of surprise attacks can be set up with this jutsu. Another use I see for this jutsu is in the rain. You could create a hole while it is raining and it would fill up giving you a water source to use. You can also use it to weaken the ground below an opponent if you have a need to do so.

How to defend from the technique:

By itself it's not an attack technique. If you see your enemy form a hole then it is a good idea to get to higher ground. You can do this using any number of available jutsu. In general don't stay stationary if you see this hole being formed. If a person jumps in the hole you can trap them with a large scale katon jutsu into the hole. Or When the Opponent is in Mid-Range or Short Range from me, I would use this Attack to electrocute him/her. Perhaps Wind Release: Wind Stream Technique so that when I start falling, I could keep myself in the air before I get caught in the tunnel.

Questions about the technique:

Can you make any size hole you want? I assume you can use it in sand, right?

Starting off with the question asked about Chidori, you are asking your hand to be cut off o-o, Chidori is A ranked lightning technique, it would rip through the earth fist and pretty much destroy your hand in the process if the target knows what he is doing. Your counters pretty solid, as it is one technique that you can easily counter. Like you mentioned, it is a good conjunction with Taijutsu but it would require you to balance the weight of your fist. With added weight and light weight, if your fist is too light, the punch will lose force, and with added weight, the fist an be too hard to maintain if your bio isn’t strong enough.

Freeform taijutsu would pack more of a punch as well. Though not boosted, your freeform punches would actually be C-Ranked due to having the extra drive behind it. So when you wanna got fisty cuffs, this technique is a good option as well.

Moving on to the second technique, no you wont be able to use it on sand, as sand is too loose in order to form a cave entry and structure, unless your Garra or Shukaku lol but on a serious note, you cant use it on it. As for the size, it be wide enough to hold humans, so pretty wide I guess. The structure has to be soft rock as it can be used on hard rock. It doesn’t make in interference on the surface, making it a very useful jutsu for underground travel.

  • This jutsu has a relatively short list of handseals, so it would be quick and easy to perform.

As already stated this would work great in conjunction with taijutsu. You could also use it to punch your way out of a imprisonment or to disperse a water bullet. Combinations with this jutsu are really limited as it's a very straight forward technique. It's essentially a strong punch. Or when the user comes right at me, I’d use Wind Release: Great Vacuum Cannon to blow the user backwards and away from me. That way, he/she wouldn't come into contact with the punch.

The ideal way to counter this tech is to avoid it and then counter. You can't free form dodge but you can use a stream to push yourself away. If you have time for this will depend on how heavy the rock is. A D rank lightning tech could counter this jutsu if you wanted to face it directly. You can also use world shaking and make your opponent stumble and lose their balance.

Performing the technique:

I concentrate on the chakra flowing through my system and focus a portion of it into my right arm. I then mold my chakra into doton chakra and weave the handseals Snake and Seal of Confrontation. Almost immediately, earth forms around my right arm, and it becomes encased by the earth as it hardens into rock. I thrust my arm forward and form my hand into a fist, punching my opponent right in the gut. The impact is substantial, in that it sends him back to mid range.

I accumulate chakra and create doton chakra, channeling it through my feet and into the ground beneath me. I weave the hand-seals Ram → Dog → Rat → Bird before a huge hole in the ground opens up underneath me. I let myself fall inside, still releasing my chakra as I do. I've created a tunnel, and I use it to get away.

Questions about the technique:

Can you make any size hole you want? I assume you can use it in sand, right?

  • Through a flash bomb before and its a great combo to finish an opponent.
  • The technique is low in rank making it easy to counter with a lightning attack.
When a person is unbalanced and taken backwards by the sudden mud river, this needle is perfect for finishing him off before he/she regains balance.

It can be destroyed easily and also dodged since it is big and the opponent can see it coming.

Performing the technique:

I focus chakra to my environment, mainly the ground before me. I now summon a large flowing river of mud by making the ground collapse into it. I immediately use shape manipulation to create a large earth needle which I release from the mud with great force and it pierces your clone.

  • If used while opponent has no-where to go behind wise you can finish them off relatively quick.
  • It only makes 2 walls so you cant fully bind or restrict their movement. so you must use it in a spot which allows you to trap your opponent.
When the opponent has been restrained between the two walls, they are very vulnerable to attacks from all sides.

A brutal lightning tech can destroy them and also, the opponent can escape quickly since they can see the earth wall emerge.

Performing the technique:

I perform the snake handseal ,send my doton chakra into the ground and have two 5 by 5 metre walls erupt out of the ground conering you.(your clone is infront of a ciff face for the sake of explaining)i then finish you off by using random fire tech.

  • Good for blowing back projectiles. Also could be useful against taijutsu users. Simple to perform. No hand signs.Jutsu has nice range.
  • Beyond defense this jutsu doesn't have much application. Can easily be blocked with a solid object like most gusts. Wind wall can only be projected in one direction, forward.
You can use this jutsu to push your opponent into a trap or corner them into a wall. This jutsu isn't really a combination jutsu

When you see the dust you can form a solid wall out of the earth to block the path of the wind. You can also overpower it with a stronger wind jutsu.

Performing the technique:

I channel my chakra in my body and mold it into doton chakra. I focus it through my feet and into the ground below me. I use my chakra to turn some of the earth into fine sand, almost on the molecular level. I sweep my left hand up and over my head, bringing the particles of sand up from the earth. I then use my chakra to propel the sand in the direction of my opponents.

  • Jutsu is quick to perform. Great for an approaching opponent. Difficult to evade this jutsu as the rock is huge.
  • Can only be used in short range. Relatively easy to defend against. Just use a lightning jutsu to break the rock. Opponent can feel the rock being formed.
You could drop the hammer from above and then perform a jutsu from below the opponent. That way the opponent would be trapped from above and below.

Using a lightning tech to break the rock would be the easiest way. If your fast you might be able to dodge it by pushing yourself out of the way with a wind stream or rock pillar.

Performing the technique:

I collect my chakra and mold it into doton chakra, I channel that chakra through my feet and into the ground. I summon the earth before me, and a huge rock rises from the ground in front of me. I use my chakra to control the rock and slam it over my opponent, crushing him further into the ground.

  • Provides a very quick defense. Opponent is left vulnerable in the air as stated.
  • Again the opponent can sense the rocks being formed. Easy to defend against if detected in time.
As the jutsu states the opponent is left vulnerable in the air.

As with the last one the simplest defense is to dodge it. This can be done by shooting yourself into the air via any number of jutsu. If you don't evade the jutsu I'm not sure how to defend against it since the rocks form quickly. You could try to form a wall to protect yourself or use a stream or bullet type jutsu to fire at the rocks and quickly break them.

Performing the technique:

I gather my chakra and mold it into doton chakra, and I have to concentrate hard on the ground around my target, even while he’s advancing. I send my chakra through the ground between me and the oncoming enemies. Then, I clap my hands together, and sure enough, my plan works. Right in front of the leader, two huge rocks suddenly appear on both of his sides. The force of the rocks alone is enough to send him flying, but the fact that he ran straight into them probably added to the impact. [/FONT]

Probably Wind Release: Vacuum Wave, because the blade of wind circles the user enough to both defend the user and attack the opponent at the same time. So the user could protect him/herself from Jagged Rock Formation and follow up with a counter simultaneously.

Performing the technique:

I gather my chakra and let it flow into my feet as I mold it into doton chakra. Before my opponents are upon me, I stomp one of my feet into the ground. I release my chakra right as the ball of my foot makes contact. The earth rapidly rips apart, forcing fragments of earth to rise up in huge formations. The fragments meet their mark, as their blunt force deals critical attacks to some of my opponents.

You may use Taijutsu, Genjutsu or Ninjutsu if you know any , but you must have at least 2 earth techniques. Ill grade you on a rating of E-S Rank , and need at least a B-Rank to continue. Make it as unique and well timed as possible. Remember...detail is key.
