Doton is one of the basic elemental nature transformation among the 5 basic natures. Earth is also very versatile like water, it can be shaped into many things. Earth users have been shown to be able to change the characteristics of earth easily like making it soft, making it hard, making it heavier, making it lighter even making boundaries and trenches. Earth elmental ninjutsu also allows the user to travel through ground and rock in various ways which can be essential for both transportation and for setting up attacks or creating defenses or for offence. Earth users also can move the earths core as required..The most famous of earth based ninjutsu is Doton: Doryuheki.. Although this technique can be performed by people who doesn't even have Earth natured chakra
Strength and Weaknesses
Earth is strong against Water because earth naturally contains water or absorbs water to the point when it becomes muddy. But weak against Lightning. Wind also can cut through earth..
Properties
Earth also has lot of known use of Kekkei Genkai. For Example -
1. Mokuton - Users Hashirama, Madara, Zetsu, Danzo, Obito
2. Yoton - Users Roshi, (Son Goku), Mei Terumi, Kurotsuchi, Dodai of Cloud
3. Bakuton - User Deidara.
There is one more use of Doton that is in Kekkei Touta - (Bloodline Expansion)

Well done! Though remember that Wind may be able to cut through Earth, but in terms of our RP they are neutral to each other. Which means that if two techniques of Earth and Wind were to collide against each other, they would simply clash and negate each other.

After Sensei points at the rock I go there sit down with my legs crossed and my arms on my lap. I start to gather up my chakra. Then I start flowing my chakra into the rock. Having put a large amount of chakra into the rock, I noticed and feel the shape of the rock and the edges with my eyes closed. I start feeling the strength, versatility and the rock's endurance. After noticing and feeling all this I start feeling myself having those characteristics. I feel my self as an Earth Element User..

What I did right there, is basic manipulation of the texture of the Earth. You see, by supplying more chakra into the pillar, you are able to even change its form, its shape, all based upon your will. You can even change the weight, but that requires a jutsu we will go through later on. Right now, I want you to copy what I just did. Supply some more chakra into the Earth pillars you just created, and in doing so, soften the Earths structure, almost so that it's like a jelly. Then, by using basic shape manipulation, change the shapes of your pillars. Forming the one in your right hand into a sword, and the one in your left hand into a shield. Describe how you do each one individually, for example the large surface area that a shield has, and the sharp edge a sword has.

Concentrating my huge amount of chakra harder on the ground, I begin to pull out two pillars from the ground with each of my hands on each pillar. My left hand on the left pillar and my right hand on the right pillar. This time the pillars starts to soften almost like its melting away. Those two pillars starts getting slowly smaller and forms into two sharp swords...
Two sharp swords will do well I guess, well done!
What we did here is merely just a fragment of the Earth's manipulation, this is an extremely versatile jutsu because it allows so many actions to occur. You can use this as shields, you can make weapons just like we did, you can use the pillar itself to hurl the opponent in the air, or even strike onto him. Always remember what I told you, the Earth is your friend, but enough about that, since I will test you later on.
For now, we will skip the next jutsu according to the list, since it is part of a combo that involves a C-rank, and we will go back to it later. For now, I want you to re-perform what you just did, however to a greater extent. *Throws you a rock* Catch it, and send your Earth chakra into it. What you did with the pillars was to make them smaller, take chunks off in order to fulfill the shapes you wanted, but this time it will be harder. I want you to change the shape of the rock into that of a staff, it must be long and not-so thick, with a spear at the tip, make sure to keep the staff's form, do not let it crumble away as you stretch the thick rock.
*Raises an Earth pillar with a dot in the middle facing you a few meters away* And once you're done with making the spear, using careful timing and precise accuracy, strike the dot in the middle of the pillar with your spear.

I catch the rock Sensei throws to me. I hold that rock on my palm. Now I imagine (in my mind) a long stick with a spear like shape at the end of the tip. I first focus my chakra and then start gathering my chakra at my palm. Then i focus on releasing my gathered chakra through my palm on the rock. The rock slowly but steadily starts to transform into a long stick with a spear like shape at the end of the tip. After that i make sure if the stick will crumble or not. When i am sure that the stick will not crumble, I aim and throw that stick on the dot in the middle of the pillar (pillar made by sensei). After a few tries i get it done.

Either way, the next jutsu will be our first C-rank, and is one of my favorite Earth jutsus. *Performs a single hand sign* Repeat the hand sign I just showed you, whilst channeling your Earth chakra throughout your body and into the ground. In doing so, cause two gigantic walls of rock to raise around your opponent. The walls are reflected of each other, meaning they can either be formed to your opponent's front and back, or both sides. And once done doing that, use your chakra to cause the wall to come together, and your opponent will be caught in that movement, being crushed.
*Summons a clone that begins running into many directions, changing them in quick manners*
The real killer in this jutsu, is being able to time your movement, and make sure when to exactly raise the Earth, since my clone is running around, you have to time yourself to exactly catch him off guard. This can be done by manipulating small forms of rock, just like you are supposed to do with the two ''big'' walls, raise some small walls that will just make his feet stumble, unbalancing him where the main attack will come into place.

I gather my chakra while weaving that hand-seal (which sensei performed) converting my chakra into earth chakra and focusing it into the ground that we are standing on. Seeing the clone that sensei created, I manipulate the ground using my chakra and have the sections of the ground rise on both sides of the clone each few meters away from him and have them on standby since, I have to time it just right to crush him. I watch him closely as he darts around while I maintain my flow of chakra into ground forming with the hand-seal. Once I see an opening, I quickly raise small sections as soon as he is about to step/land with the next foot that touches the ground. Making sure to raise the parts that would make him lose his balance like a street that is uneven and the person can easily step wrong or trip and fall without noticing it since it blends in and is barely noticeable from a certain angle and height. Once he caught off balance, I manipulate the two bigger sections and bring them in to smashing the clone.

As you've done that, close your eyes and imagine the dense structure that Earth carries, now imagine that structure breaking apart, into loose grains, and whilst your imagining, begin to use your Earth chakra to copy the image in your head, on the ground you're standing on, turning it into loose grains of sand that allows you to sink in, forming a small hole which your body goes into, successfully going into the ground, and as you do, the hole closes upon itself, leaving no trace of your existence.
Whilst being underground, you are capable of sensing whatever is above the ground, by pressure. Meaning when a foot steps onto the ground, you can feel it and know what is above yourself, so following onto that *makes a clone that runs around* keep a check, make sure to figure out where he is. Then, taking him by surprise, perform a sneak attack. At the exact moment you want to attack, remake a hole in the ground, by turning it into loose grains of sand again, jump out of the hole with massive power and grab onto your opponent. As you grab him, pull yourself up whilst pulling him down, making you get out of the hole standing above ground, and trapping him inside the hole. Binding him to his place, with only his head sticking out.

Its a bit hard and complicated but I will give it a try..
I close my eyes and stand perfectly still and firm. I first perform the rat seal then, gather and focus my chakra all throughout my body, slowly converting it into earth chakra and have it flow into the ground. While doing this, I picture in my mind the dense structure the earth possesses, its appearance and the feeling of it when one touches it with their hand. I then, picture that dense that structure breaking apart, crumbling bit by bit into loose grain. While picturing this, I apply this to the ground that I'm standing on using my earth chakra and slowly turning the ground beneath me into fine sand. As I do this, I begin to sink into the ground, forming a hole significant enough for me to slip in. As I go deeper and deeper into the ground, the hole above me begins to close up, leaving no trace of where I entered the earth.
While Submerged in the earth, I keep in mind of what you said. Using the magnetic forces to sense what is happening above, I hear the sounds of foot steps but, these steps sounded like a big boulder crashing on the ground and the sound was continuous. It didn't sound like walking so, it was safe to assume that someone was running. I listen closely and try to predict where they will step next and attempt to capture them while digging. Following the sounds and once I was sure where they where headed and where the next foot was about to meet with the ground, I remake the hole and launch my hands out of the ground first, grabbing the targets ankles with massive power. As I grab him, I drag him down into the earth, robbing him of his freedom to move around while, at the same time turning more of the ground in fine sand in order to get out, and trapping him in the hole as it closes up only leaving his head sticking out. I then, stand above the clone looking down at him..

Let's slow the pace down a bit and finish that last D-rank, what I want you to do is concentrate on your Doton chakra, channelling it towards your more dominant arm; and from there try to use shape manipulation so that rocks will physically grow on your arm. We have tackled using the ground as a source before and this method is a bit different, make rocks grow around your arm so they act as simple rings that cover said arm. Then, by pointing at your opponent in a cool-looking fashion, send each of these rings to be flung forwards from your arm and towards your opponent, crushing him upon impact.

I slowly get my hand out of the ground to take my opponent by his ankle. After getting hold of his ankle I then start to pull him down into the earth with all my might. My opponent rapidly submerges as I emerge out of the ground, I then stand above him looking over the buried area where my opponent used to stand and brush the dirt and dust off my clothes.
