I'm sorry but in looks Kushina is passible I wouldn't say she is pretty. I would also say she is written okay but not neccsarily good.

Tsunade is the best written one. She has good backstory, a personality, depth and relevancy with other characters etc. Her stages of development is more than decent.

yes , kushina is the best written female... she was the only one who won something and that was naruto and minato... a lover , which other females had that much development so far in the manga? NO ONE!

I'd say she's definitely a good female character, up there by Naruto standards, but i wouldn't say the best.
Her personality was quite the cliche, but she fullfilled her role very well and i can't deny it was interesting watching her interacting not just as a strong and real woman, but also as a mom.

yeah she is pretty awesome for me too..i don't like her attitude and mood swings but she is still pretty amazing!
