She is not girly, vulnerable and always needed to be rescued. i love her tomboy personality and how she is strong. she is very amusing!

I believe that Konan is one of the best written characters v_v she is unbelievably devoted to her cause... But not to the point where she will grow conceited and twist the cause around, hence why she left Akatsuki, when Obito twisted their original goals around

I would say Kushina is one of the better written ones. Though I do prefer Konan more. But then again, I don't really find even the best written female characters in Naruto to be outstanding characterization-wise. Good but not outstanding.
