Yes, it's my first session! Chakra is the life force/energy within our bodies. It is created by molding together our physical and spiritual energy. Chakra is used to fuel both our stamina as well as ninja techniques. Ninjutsu is the art of using said chakra to perform out of the world things. These can range from making physical copies of yourself, to even transforming your body into another object. Ninjutsu does not always involve chakra usage, well most of the times it does. However other times it just means it's techniques ninja use like accurately throwing a fuma shuriken and then throwing another one in the shadow like seen by sasuke. Elemental ninjutsu is the usage of nature transformation to convert your raw chakra into that of an element. That elemental chakra is then used to perform ninjutsu techniques like fire balls, waves of water, pillars of earth, gusts of wind or even bolts of lightning.

Pretty good. It will suffice for now. What do you know about Elemental interaction? Like when A water technique interact with a fire one or when a Wind interacts with a fire one vice versa yada yada. What do you know about them?

We would follow this picture for which element is strong against which. Going by that we know that water is strong to fire and that fire is strong against wind. Nirvana went over the ranks involved so I think I have a good grasp on it. Because water is strong to fire it means that a C ranked Water can clash with a B ranked fire and cancel out. If the water was also B rank it would continue weak. The same thing can be applied for fire but in reverse. You would need and A ranked to take out the water and cancel out and S rank to continue weak?

As for fire and wind, the same things would apply corresponding to the element's weakness. Which is, fire being stronger than wind according to the diagram.

"That was a bit basic! But oh well! Am here to help you! xD"

Minato then walks near the Young noob and grabs his shoulder with his palm. Both of em starts to walk whilst Minato starts to explain.

"That was correct but there is bit more to that. See, Elemental interaction is the way two elemental chakra natures Interact. One may be strong over the other or vice versa!. Hmm...How to explain better about this, Take the Fire element. The fire element is strong over the wind element but it is weak over water element. That means, An A rank fire technique can easily be stopped by a B ranked water technique, Whilst the same A rank fire technique can easily overpower an A ranked wind technique. Elemental interaction all depends on the strength and weakness of the two/ more elements that are clashing with each other.

Regular ninjutsu is a different case. Regular ninjutsu is based on the usage of raw chakra. Raw chakra is always weak to elemental chakra whereas when raw chakra undergoes a high level of Shape manipulation like the Rasengan!. It can go on equal terms with elemental chakra based techniques!

During the elemental interactions, the Size of the technique also matters!. For example say that your opponent is sending a large wave of A ranked water towards you. A rasengan which is A ranked by logic must cancel the water wave; but when compared to the size of the water wave, the rasengan is waaay too small! So it will be a wrong counter and you'll be hit by the water technique!."

*Tosses a scroll to Kushimaru!"

"Now that you have some knowledge about the elemental interactions, strengths and weakness! Tell me what do you know about Suiton? Is it versatile? What are it's strengths? What are it's weakness? How will it interact with other elemental techniques? What are the KG's that are made up of Suiton element? Who are the prominent users of Suiton?"

Thank you for the answers Senpai!

Is it versatile?
Yes, water is very versatile. It can be used in various forms, solids, liquids and even 'gasses'. The solids would be Ice construct or really compressed techniques that can be seen as a possible solid. The liquid form can be used in different forms, like the syrup technique seen in the first Kakuzu fight where the Konoha-Nin released a field that stuck the opponent onto the floor. Oil versions have been seen used by the toads as well. As for the "gasses" I would refer to the mist usage of it, like the hidden mist jutsu and similar techniques. Depending on it's usage, water can be very deadly, defensive or even supplementary.

What are it's strengths?
It's natural strength is against Fire. It mostly plays on equal terms with other basic elements besides Earth. (Ill state the rest in the other question. There has been shown an advanced usage of water release within Amegakure, some ninja are able to manipulate the weather, more specifically, rain.

What are it's weakness?
It's weak to earth release because it is more solid than water, being able to both stop it and even disperse it apart. Although not a weakness per say, lightning can be very deadly with water release if used in correctly or if struck by it when around water.

How will it interact with other elemental techniques?
Earth - When normal waves of water collide with earth it simply disperses apart. When a highly pressurized stream is released, depending on the ranks, water is able to slice it in half. When water comes into contact with mud it causes the mud to become more liquidy, thus speeding up the process of traveling or simply, the overall binding.

Wind - It plays on equal grounds, wind clashing against water would cause for a small tropical rain storm as the water is dispersed and blown everywhere. This depends on the nature of the wind technique. If it's a blade, it would cut the wave and continue, depending on the ranks of course.

Lightning - Water can either absorb the lightning when clashing against it and simply defuse it as it spreads out and disperses in the large water source, or it can be used as a supplement to enhance the overall strength of water. This opens up the ability to combat it's natural weakness, earth release. With a lightning infused water technique the effects would be more potent.

Fire - Depending on the ranks and heat levels of the fire technique in question it would either cause a large mist of steam from the evaporated water, or possibly heat up the water creating a water/fire combination that could scorch the target with boiling water.

What are the KG's that are made up of Suiton element?
Boil - A misty release that evaporates on contact, it is made up of Fire and Water.
Storm - An energy-type plasma nature that is used by combining Water and Lightning Natures.
Steam - Fire and Wind?
Ice - Wind and Water

Who are the prominent users of Suiton?
Mei the Mizukage
Zabuza
Suigetsu
Kisame

That was very well done. Best reply I have ever got. :) But the solid construct of water will fall under the Ice release category. Let me add a few. Take a good read. :)

Water Release :

- What is Water element/Water release? Water is one of the five basic elemental chakras in the Narutoverse. Ninjutsu techniques that make use of Water to chakra are called as water release techniques. Water is a Calm, Graceful yet powerful and versatile element. It is the third most versatile element out of the basic five while the first and second being wind and water respectively. Water is my favourite element and one of the most effective element to use in the battle field. The ease of manipulation that can be achieved with the water element is what makes it a perfect partner in a battle.

- Is water release versatile? I would say yes since it is my favourite element! jk. xD. Actually it is versatile if, you are able to produce a large water source and overwhelm the opponent such that he deprived of earth source. or if you battle in a terrain which has more water source like near a lake or pond on in an ocean. Most of the water technique need's water source which makes it less versatile than Earth and Wind release. Water technique's method of release can be broadly classified into four types. They are.

1. Water manipulation : Water manipulation is the process of manipulating the already existing water to perform water element related techniques. Most of the high ranked water techniques comes under this particular category. Water manipulation has some serious advantages and disadvantages. Advantages be like, Depending on the technique's range, the water present anywhere even behind the opponent can be manipulated however the major disadvantage is yesh, Water source is needed. ;-;

2. & 3. Water Projectiles and Water Stream : Both these method of release originate from the user. A projectile is something that once release from the user, The user will not have any control over it. It is release as it it and it take the set designated path along which it is directed. While streams are different. Stream techniques are something that requires the user to feed it with chakra constantly as the user continuously releases it. The user will have full control over the release water and can stop the stream when ever the user desires.

4. Others : Under this other's category of techniques, Special type of Water release techniques that uses special form of water like Oil, starch syrup etc etc comes. These kinds of techniques can be very advantageous in the battle which we will discuss as we proceed with the techniques.

- What are its weakness? As we have seen that the water release is a calm, streamlined release the power and the flow of the water can be effectively stopped by the Earth release technique. Also the fact that Earth can absorb water also adds to it's weakness to the earth release technique. No only that, The flow of a water technique can effectively be stopped or change the course of it by a earth technique. Earth release techniques can however withstand the impact produced by these water techniques.

- What are its strengths? Say you light a candle and suddenly the Cloth near the candle catches fire. What will you do? you will pour water into it rite? Exactly, that the same concept that is involved here too. Water put's off fire. hence water is strong against fire. However there is something that is special regarding this interaction between water and fire which we will later discuss on while dealing with the techniques.

- What about the interaction with Other two? Water release has a unique interaction with the other two element. While the water and wind technique of equal rank get's cancelled if they clash with each other, Water techniques can be used in conjugation with wind technique in order to increase the sheer force of the water technique. Water is an excellent conductor of electricity. This property makes the water and lightning combo one of the powerful combo though this same concept can backfire the user. We will discuss that later.

- What do these Strength and Weakness actually mean in a battle? These stuffs play an important Role in our Battle RP when it comes to elemental interactions. Which we have seen earlier! :)

- What are the KGs and KTs that comprises Water as one of the Element?
Storm - Water + Lightning.
Wood - Water + Earth.
Ice - Water + Wind.
Boil - Water + Fire.

Any questions regarding this before continuing?

Ty so much, I tried my best! :win:

And woah... *jaw drops* that was very informative, thank you! No questions on my end. I am just disappointed that I forgot to state wood release for one of the KG related to water..

Well hot damn, best skipped my part LMAO great job to him, anyway.

Take this leaf, channel your water chakra into the leaf, if done correctly the leaf will be soaked due to the water chakra presence.

Key points...

Nature manipulation
Shape manipulation

Nature manipulation
Shape manipulation
Kushimaru takes the leaf with his right hand and begins to look at it. He flips it back and forth, carefully looking at the properties of the leaf. Kushimaru then begins to apply the same method as the walking on water and tree techniques. However, instead of releasing steady streams of chakra from the bottom of his feet, he begins to release a small source of chakra from his finger tips and palm, trying to channel it into the leaf. He continues to channel chakra into it, shaping it around the leaf, trying to make a rough shape around it. While doing so, Kushimaru thinks of how the water flows and tries to do the same with his chakra, attempting to infuse it strongly...

Make sure to mention shape and nature manipulation. Nature is when you change the raw chakra into a element, shape is when you manipulate it into any shape you desire.

Now release me a ball of water, destroy this dummy.

With a cold and straight forward response, Kushimaru replies.

Understood.

He then begins to channel his chakra around his right hand while stretching it out with an open palm. He begins fueling his chakra around his hand, forming it into that of a sphere. He then begins to apply nature transformation by thinking of how water acts and flows, changing it into that of water. Suddenly, an orb of water is formed in Kushimaru's hand. After that is done, he thursts his hand forward and releases the orb of water, underthrowing it towards the straw dummy at a distance.

Now do the same thing, but this time, release a stream of water, out of your mouth. Keep focus on it, and release it evenly, when you stop channeling chakra the tech will stop.

After under tossing the orb of water Kushimaru calms himself and relaxes his body. As he does so, he begins to channel chakra inside of his mouth. He then does a spewing or spitting motion with is head, slightly inclining his body forward, trying to release his chakra as if he were blowing it outwards. As it is being released, he uses nature transformation to change the raw chakra into that of water, allowing him to release water instead of regular chakra. As it is being released, Kushimaru uses shape manipulation in order to control the source of water into a small stream that continues forward so long as he continues fueling it with chakra.

GREAT. One last thing. You see that pound of water? Rise it into an orb, and shape the orb into a dagger, spike, etc. Anything your mind can come up with, and then send it one last time to that dummy.

Outside manipulation? Understood.

Kushimaru begins to release his chakra outward and into the source of water in the pond. He then rises his left hand, controlling his chakra in the same way, causing a small spike of water to rise up. Using his other hand, he clenches it in a fist, causing the water to compress into the shape of his Nuibaru blade, having it's handle portion still stuck to the water source. Kushimaru then flicks his hands, causing the water needle to erupt out of the source and head directly toward the dummy, piercing into it's chest area.

Anyway my training is unorthodox.

Lets first begin with the D-Ranks.

(Suiton No Jutsu) - Water technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points:20
Description: Creates small waves of water, small blasts, and small shields of water.
Note: Doesn't require a water source but can be used to manipulate existing water.

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

(Suiton: Mizu Kuri No Yaiba) - Water Style: Sword of Draining
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like with a normal blade.
Note: Doesn't require a water source.

( Suiton: Junsai no Jutsu ) - Water Release: Water Shield Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their water chakra and releasing it from their arm which is held outwards infront of them and they then create a shield of water that can aide in defence against projectile weapons and close combat techniques.

I want you to simply list these four techs, your favorite to your least. Explain why the placement, their uses, adv/disadv, etc.

One of my favorite techniques of all time and one of the ones I plan to use the most, if I am able to. I would really like to specialize in using this one is possible. I chose this one as my first technique because it will be a great supplement for sewing my opponents by using my Nuibari blade. I want to try and be a stealthy and quick assassin and this would help me in being sneaky. This technique is used to blind the opponents by creating a thick mist of water vapor. The good thing is that the mist is infused with the user's chakra so if the opponent has something like the sharingan, they will be unable to see the user because there would be a large cloud of chakra of the same color. The downside to this technique is that users of the byakugan can still see through the mist, and that chakra sensors might still be able to find the user? I am unsure on that one. The mist can be released from the mouth and be spread out, or it can be created by manipulated an outside source of water. The nice thing about this technique is that it has a large range, so it makes it hard for the opponent to run away from it. The downside is that they will most likely try to take care of it instantly and maybe blow it away with wind.

(Suiton No Jutsu) - Water technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points:20
Description: Creates small waves of water, small blasts, and small shields of water.
Note: Doesn't require a water source but can be used to manipulate existing water.

I chose this as my second because it is very versatile, this technique along allows the user to use different methods. It all depends on the situation at hand, and the user can tweak his counter or attack. It can be used to release water from the body, mouth, hands? Feet? Or even be used to manipulate water sources of up to mid range away. This technique can be used to create defenses, like a shield of water, which would make one of the above techniques a bit worthless.

I'm not sure if it's allowed or not, but I chose this as my third favorite because I would love to use it in combination with my blade, creating this blade of water around my own Nuibari blade, coating it in order to make it stronger. However, since the Nuibari can pierce up to B rank physical techniques, I am not sure if this coating would even help. An up side is that the user doesn't require a water source which means he can spew the water and manipulate it into a sword, or form it out of his hand? The downside is that he has to stay focused on the shape of the sword and unable to do other techniques, I think.

Being stealthy and getting close kills means I will be near my target most of the time. I think this technique will help me in such situations if the user decides to punch me or do a taijutsu related technique that I can't avoid with ease. I can even use fakes, or feints with this, thrusting my arm in order to pretend I am punching, but then release a burst of water and manipulate it into a shield to defend from something. I could even then combine this technique with the first one and release a blast of water from that source, defending and then attacking all in one go without relying on other water or releasing it from my mouth. The downside is that the user needs to have his chakra focused on the shield in order to maintain it. So I am not sure if he would be able to use the water blast technique? Maybe after dispersing the shield?

Was that satisfactory?

Sensors can find people through the mist. Also, creating a body of water around the sword wouldn't be allowed, but it is really creative. TBVH I'm not sure, best it safe, but I don't see a reason not to experiment and ask around. It is out of the hand. That is correct for the water shield as well.

Same thing with these C-rank.
