Naruto knows that Tobi's not Madara. He cancelled his clone on the Edo Madara battlefield when the Kage's told him to ''WIN!''.
The way kage bunshins work certifies that the original Naruto now has the information that Madara was edo summoned.

Plus, after telling Tobi about Edo Madara, this conversation took place:

After that, he refers to Tobi as ''No one'' during his conversation with Son Goku.

About the ''saving'' part. Naruto wanted to stay on the battlefield and fight against Edo Madara. Plus, he wanted to protect his comrades. I guess that was what he meant.

Also, the translation might be a little off too. I'll check online for the original Japanese text, but Naruto might have said ''Thanks for coming to my help.'' or something along that lines.

Actually the Japanese text says something different. He actually says the "Other Madara" in that scene instead of just Madara. I don't know which one he is referring too so I'll leave it alone there. I'll agree with you on this part.
