So you are comparing Itachi's genjutsu on humans to Sasuke Genjutsu on Tailed beasts? And when does talking mean its weak? By that logic Shisui's Koto Genjutsu is weak because they talk all the time.

Saskus ginjatsu is not as strong to itachis, sasuke has a 6 tomoe rinnegan and used a average genjutsu on them, obito managed the same thing with one eye and only three tomoes.

To be fair, the most that have ever been controlled at once by another Rinnegan user, Obito, was six. Not only is Sasuke doing nine, but he has Shukaku plus the two strongest, Kurama and Gyuki to control as well.

Probably a bit different if he controlled just Kurama himself.

You can clearly see from the scan that it was still in effect by looking at the Kyuubi's eye - the eye itself still retained the Tomoe'd Rinnegan - one of the many signs that tell a genjutsu is still fully functioning.

I believe that they tried to resist in the first second but got put in it anyways, as you can see by the shocked look on their faces when they are caught.

Unfortunately, Kurama could only say a few more words to Naruto even while under Genjutsu. Something mostly everyone does.
