Since Naruto needed Kurama against Neji. And Sasuke put a chidori through narutos throat. I'd say he needs Kurama or he'd get slaughtered.Only in your fanfics.
You can perceive it as a fact, if it will help you sleep at night.

Leave the shadow clone alone man, he thinks Naruto is a prodigy when it took him weeks of Shadow clone training to master his first element, when 7 years old Sasuke did that in one week without help and even managed to develop his second element, develop his speed to lee's level and learn chidori all in one month.
Taking Kurama out changes things. That means he doesn't have a beast inside holding him back from learning new jutsus and interfering with his chakra control.
Obviously you have no comprehension skills, so I'll say it again.
With Kurama, the events that took place in Part 1 remain the same, though without Kurama he becomes considerably more superior in part 1 thus wrecking both Neji and Sasuke.
With or without Kurama both end up being inferior to Naruto.
Btw Sasuke never used Chidori on his throat.
Nope he'd still get wrecked pretty badly because Kurama is much greater than a naruto with better CC. Yes Naruto took a chidori to the lung and Kurama saved him. Naruto = ashura ; This means that he needs Hagoromo's power (for Naruto = Kurama ) to match Indra (for Naruto = Sasuke)
