Lightning is 1 of the 5 main elements. It is naturally created with the static elecracity in the clouds. It is good for Mid-short attacks but can also be used for long range. The most powerfull lightning attack is lime light.
Its strong against earth and weak against wind.
Kakashi and Sasuke are the main lightning users.

Good. but here is what lightning is in battle: Raiton, or Lightning Element takes the form of electrical and lightning based attacks.
When used in conjunction with metal based weapons, the power becomes amplified.
Lightning is good for middle to long-range attacks.
