This is my first thread ever and instead of just some hello i wanted to post something i've been thinking about for a while now...obviously from my avatar i'm a hyuga/byakugan fan mostly because it's the most overlooked doujutsu and i think it has a lot of potential that kishi doesn't explore.
I always wanted Kishi to upgrade the byakugan much like the sharingan gets an upgrade with the Mangekyou, but i wanted it to be unique and not like the sharingan in any way. Since it seems that the manga is coming to an end, i doubt i will get my wish SOOOO i came up with my own upgrade that makes perfect sense when it comes to what the Byakugan has already been shown to do and i called it Kozumikku Byakugan or cosmic all seeing white eye.
1st upgrade: taking into account that the byakugan has the most insight amongst all doujutsu and has been shown to even see the infrared spectrum why not make it able to see the one thing that almost all scientist believe the universe consists of but yet haven't seen Dark matter/energy! And if they can see it why wouldn't they be able to manipulate it as a power source which leads to my second upgrade...
2nd upgrade: using dark energy/matter to view past/future. Keeping in line with the 'all seeing' aspect of the byakugan using the kozumikku byakugan allows the to recreate past events by manipulating chakra signatures left on dark matter in any given space to varying degrees much like the silver surfer is able to do. And by speeding up the dark energy in a certain space, be able to see the future events that will take place in that area also to varying degrees. It would immediately lend to their Gentle fist by keeping their view of any fight a split second ahead of the actual encounter...
Of course such an eye would be costly to use such as the abilities of the Mangekyou are, and extensive use would cause blindness to all spectrums BUT they would be more intune with space/time and begiven visions of the future periodically.
How still haven't figured out how they would unlock it outside of obviously being very gifted with the byakugan like Neji...but i hope you like my fabricated Byakugan upgrade!
