Korra fought more dangerous and powerful opponents imo (sozin commet Ozai could beat Kuvira and pre flight Zaheer, and maybeee even post fight Zaheer, but he loses to Amon and Unalaq for sure). However Aangs avatar state seems to be way more powerful based on feats.
I think a in focus Korra in base beats the 12 year old pacifist Aaang, but avatar state aang > avatar state Korra.
yes the dark avatar is stronger but you gotta realize ozai even with a comet was nothing against avatar state. Aang with avatar state any being simple he can beat amon etc. But korra definitely had tough opponents but she was still weaker. Look at her fights against people she almost lost against the dark avatar who she should have beat with the avatar state since she had the elemental advantage of 4 vs 1.
she loses in base to kuvira gets the earth bent underneath her thats piiful and should not happen to any avatar. she lost to toph effortlessly.
She doesn't know how to use her elements she fires it like all like fire. she uses simple air blasts against toph who dodged it all she doesnt even boost her speed like aang with air. She doesn't listen to the ground and attack with earth just chucks rocks. She doesn't have proper use of elements and just goes head on.
Aang's base feats in air an earth are so superior to hers even as a 12 year old. korra while in the other elements is nothing spectacular and fire is weapon of choice and i haven't seen any feats in that respect too.
I can't see how she is gonna hit aang, just cuz he is a pacifist doesn;t mean he won't hit back look what he did to zuko in ember island
