History: Korik was born unto a family of powerful ninja. They were a well respected family for their prowess and ability to accomplish whatever mission was given to them. It quickly became apparent that he didn't have the powers of his family, resulting in him being shunned by all of his relatives but his father and mother. They figured he could become great by doing something other than being a ninja.
As Korik grew older though, his family could tell something was different about him. He loved violence. Korik took pleasure when he would hurt someone, especially when it was bad enough to send them to the hospital. He hated all but his parents- and only because they didn't resent him when it became apparent that he wasn't going to be like his family.
When he was thirteen, he killed his brother with one of his brother's own weapons for insulting him. The family was appalled. They kept it secret and tried to talk to Korik to find out why he had committed the crime. He simply replied, "For the fun of it."
Later that night, his parents had to face the facts. Their son was a murderer and had to be taken care of. When his parents thought he was asleep, they entered Korik's room and tried to kill him. He had been awake, practicing with the twin scimitars he had taken from his brother.
After hearing his parents conspiring against him, Korik fled the village, only taking his armor, weapons, and mask that he had made over the years. He left a note in the house explaining that his skills exceeded even his parents and told them that if they went searching for him, he would kill them without hesitation. They didn't, thinking it better to just let him be.
He joined a group of highway robbers, staying with them for a couple of years to perfect his skills before slaughtering them and becoming "The Mask of Death".
Weapons: He mainly only carries his two scimitars, though occasionally he'll take a small crossbow that he attaches to his chest.
