Yeah and naruto beat kabuto at his age, kabuto was more dangerous than that specific path. And oh yeah naruto beat garra in tailed beast form ! Which is aleo a greater feat. Naruto and sauske were better shinobi at his age

Konohamaru taking out one of the pains at his age is identical to Naruto smacking Kabuto with the rasengan while looking for Tsunade, actually Naruto's is more impressive because that was the first time he completed the Rasengan and it was during battle, Konohamaru had atleast a little bit of time with the Rasengan before he hit pain with it......So yeah Naruto is better than Konohamaru at that age.

So did Naruto before Kakashi,Jiraya, grumpy sage, and Bee taught him. Tho throwing rasenshuriken is his own awesome doing ;P
Maybe he's not stronger but seems a little more effective. Maybe because now kishi has a clear view on Justus unlike before when he didn't even come up with all of them yet.

I seriously doubt that because Naruto is blessed with a good bloodline and Nine Tails giving him large amount of chakra. How can konohamaru surpass nine tail mode or even sage? Sasuke is also blessed with Uchiha power bloodline such as Sharingan. NOt only this he's one of the few that has Eternal MS. I believe Sasuke EMS is stronger than Madara because Madara Susanoo has many flaws.

He is a lil weaker than them at his age. He has mastered rasengan but doesnt have much battle exp besides killing that path of pain. Naruto and Sasuke had took down more enemies than he has as well as been on more dangerous missions.

i'm not sure how much kishi was behind the filler, but the killing a pain part is definitely canon.
putting that into perspective, kakashi was able to kill one pain and almost 2 (albeit the strongest ones)
shizune lost to the human pain
ibiki and others managed to capture the animal path
ebisu or whatever his name is, and other chuunin, lost to the same pain konohamaru fought
those are all jounin or elite jounin, yet konohamaru who is barely a genin was able to beat the albeit weakest pain. he already has kage bunshin and rasengan under his belt, whereas naruto had just kage bunshin at that stage. He also has superior taijutsu and speed to at least naruto in the chuunin exams, probably more than sasuke at the time he fought haku too. Naruto was right when he said that he gets jutsu much faster than naruto does, he will progress insanely quickly. especially if naruto teaches him that kage bunshin training method as well.
note: at this point, konohamaru has just become a genin, ie at the point where naruto and sasuke took their first c-rank mission vs zabuza and haku. he's definitely better than them at this age, although not as good as them post-chuunin exams

what smarts had sasuke shown at that age? naruto was the one who came up with the plan to trick zabuza, and i think we can all agree he's not smart in the conventional sense. konohamaru outwitted a pain at 12 years old, which plenty of stronger, smarter shinobi failed to do

yeah i don't think he has the chakra to do hundreds like naruto was, but even 1 bunshin cuts your training by half. 3 bunshin cuts training time down to 25%. sarutobi are renowned for their huge chakra, i think he could utilise it, to a much lesser extent than naruto of course.
