When dealing with bringer of darkness you only lose your eyesight. If you had dealt with the swift user before releasing from the gen you would of had a good counter. Plus your partners first move was just horrible.

and i admit i made a mistake there by trying to deal with the genjutsu first where i should have gone for the swift user first... and well you could call it a mistake for not having my ninken with me....
