I dont really care too much who they date, Korra had a much more enjoyable story and villains than Aang did for me. I preferred Aang's team ovwr Korra's though.

This is fair. Ye I don't know why it matters who the Avatars date or whatever, I prefer Aangs character overall, compared to Korra's, mainly because I just didn't vibe with Korra's attitude a lot. I didn't enjoy Book 1 of Korra's story that much but many think it was the best one, I really liked the second one though, but I enjoyed all of ATLA.

I really need to start watching the new Avatar, I have heard a real mixed results though.
