Ye I get what you mean, I think it comes from a place of inexperience. Being a mod, sensei, admin, you have the role of having to look at all that and understand why something might be the way it is. A lot of others won't have that.

I think its just humans being human. We tend to prioritize how something effects us more than effecting others. It happens

Im all for this. New isn't really needed, there are a few things in the rules section that still need removing or fixing for clarification to match updates that never were, but its a big job so its understandable why it gets left.
