One day, AI will write the manga about my character that was taken from Bleach, placed inside a Naruto roleplay, using powers ripped directly from Jujutsu Kaisen, Fate/Stay Night, and Honkai Star Rail, and I couldn't be more hyped.

Honestly, I know most people automatically assume AI is bad, but tbh i think if you're using it for personal reason and not sharing or trying to make money off it, absolutely fine. I use it to simulate NPCs and responses in my own personal fanfic stuff

It has its uses tbh - but I do understand the reluctance and aversion to it, especially when it comes to how it straight up steals art and media lol.

AI is while still a new concept, had gotten very negative press mostly because of the bad actors in the scene. Remember, AI gains its intelligence based on what "we"; as humans; program it to absorb and learn from.
The AI itself isn't bad by any means; its just doing what it was design and taught to do. I sympathize with creatives like writera and artists because their craft, hard work and dedication is being used as a sample for some program to take, twist and replicate it and that goes beyond the concept of inspiration. I am a photographer, and as a creative I had to look at AI directly and how I can utilize it for my own workflow; which I cant bring myself to use it for like those things with generative fill. Its too much at that point; so all it does in my actual paid work is just automize mudane tasks like masking; which is like selecting parts of a photo like the subject for me. Thats really it and Im fine with that because the equal editing, process of taking the photos etc us still done by me with my hands.
So I totally get it. AI will always be a tense subject; and I cant pretend I havent used it for imagery purposes on the rp, shit my main character Iyanna is an ai made OC but thats all it is for, my own personal entertainment.
But thats all Imma really say, just wanted to air my own thoughts on the matter. Oh and fun fact; my island here in the Caribbean is the capital of ai now cause we own the .ai domain, so we're locally netting a crap ton of money with the boom of ai.

While I understand how heinous it is for AI to scrape and steal art, I absolutely would be more in favour if they paid artists or made some agreement for them. Idk something like 100k for their entire gallery or something to be uploaded and used. I know most artists probably still wouldn't agree but I guess it's better than just stealing or using it without permission.
It's hard, I understand it from both sides. I've seen a ton of Skyrim mods that use AI voices because the voice actor can't do more content or aren't allowed to. It sucks. But same side, I get that it's actually terrible to use someone's voice or likeness without their permission
