Lol, I'd definitely say hold off on making a new bio right now. Even if things don't get fully reset, parts of templates or rules may change that would make you have to resub it anyway.
Edit: If Canon characters were removed, how would you guys feel? If, for example, Hashirama were removed but the ability to gain Wood Release or Wood Sage Mode were still possible ( just without the passive buffs he had ), would you be okay with that? If not, why not?
Fair enough. I wouldn't mind canon characters being removed, personally. However, sometimes I do prefer RPing as a canon character such as maybe Kakuzu or Konan so I feel like I would still want the ability to make a canon character bio and play with them. So if you mean completely removing them and making them non-playable, I'm a little iffy. Like the fact that I was thinking about making a Toka Senju bio again to kind of go back to the basics of battling since she doesn't have much at her disposal and isn't even available to select from premade bios, regardless of my customs. It would be cool if I can make her in my own way if just their abilities were removed as far as being attached to the character themselves and we could still make and play with these characters. But if we were simply not allowed to make canon characters, would be a little rough. Again, I can't speak for everyone but for me personally. Because I am very fond of characters like Kakuzu. Only thing holding me back from holding onto him is that there are too many things I want to try and not enough slots and there are only so many combinations and bio slots at my disposal lol. Some of us truly enjoy canon characters in the show/manga enough to want to play as them. Ex: Negative Knight with Kakuzu, Sasori with Sasori, some RPer went further than I thought they would with Konan just can't remember their name, even you with Madara, technically. So the demand is there. But on the other hand if you remove the character from the RP but allow them to be made, kind of weird seeing someone like Konohamaru use a Sharingan or some weird shit. So I am 50/50 with it. Wouldn't be hurt by either decision but I would prefer if at least the character themselves could be made, ability set coming with them or not. Even if people throw something dumb on them. It's about creativity anyway.
I guess this leads to a question, why remove said characters? Why ask about them? What were you guys thinking? They are pretty well developed as far as what they come with. The characters actually available to use in the RP that you can make, that is. Obviously someone like Karui or Marai isn't available to select but I am talking about the characters like Danzo or Obito, etc. What makes you ask the question if we want them removed or not? If I absolutely had to pick, I would say they should definitely stay. Purchasing a character like that seems fun in terms of what they come with. Like a little purchase pack. Which isn't a quick way to power, needless to say because outside of customs they are very limited when it comes to what canon abilities you can put on them. For example, you can pick Han all day. Get that boil release, but you won't get that sharingan. Which is cool, I think customs makes up for that lackluster fact. Unless you are trying to get rid of the characters and make the abilities they come with, themselves, available to earn which is really cool but would lead me to think canon characters will simply not be allowed to be made. Curious about this.
I think they should stay. Rework them, rearrange how to earn them, add more, take some off, regardless. I vote for them to stay.
