As for ranks @Flash, they were just minimized a bit. You ain't lose any progress.

We now have Academy Student which is basically the old Genin
Genin, which is the old Chunin
Chunin, which combines old S-Jounin and Jounin
Jounin which combines S-Class, Sannin and Kage
And lastly, Sage rank which remained as it is now.

What's a best tip to give someone who is trying to complete and make an approved mission?

Probably make sure you have enough motivation to see it through. Otherwise you won't complete it, or you do, but by then your narration has become sloppy and so the mission will likely be declined.​
