Yea, so the participating bio has to be one that was not active (story-wise) during and after the Cataclysm due to continuity. Even though the arc is taking place in the past, you don't have to specify that you're spawning in the past: It's more an opportunity to detail what your bio was doing back then when the Moon fell. The twist is you can only 'experience' that time through the lens of one of the three active Factions: The Freehold, Solanacae, and The Order of the Golden Amputation.

Its an event thats treated as the present, but in terms of story, you're in a setting that takes place 2 years ago. Its effectively a Flashback and each faction has different set ups in terms of what they're doing. The Freehold event is revolving around the fall of Tani and the rise of the Freehold itself. The other factions have different rules and set ups that relate to their origins and their leaders will be posting about them shortly.

Depending on which faction you wish to interact with, you would read their information to see what you want to do. For example, if you wanted to interact eith the Freehold you would talk to Konoe or others at specific landmarks and either help the rebelling Tani members raze the landmarks or try to stop them from destroying the village/areas around the village. From there, the additional phases would begin
