it was a dark and stormy night, naruto, a senior detective, was out patrolling the desolated streets of konohagakure at the dead of night. he was investigating a brutal murder case that had transpired near an abandoned warehouse a few blocks away from where he was. said case involved the deaths of five children between ages five and eight. their bodies were mutilated and stripped off of their internal organs, limbs and bones littered the corroded floor when anbu operatives arrived at the scene. what was weird about the crime was the bodies were skinned.
as naruto rounded the corner between the shopping district and the yamanaka flower shop, he suddenly heard the loud rumbling of machinery in a nearby alleyway.
"help me... please..." a gruff voice of what seemed to be a man stated naruto approached.
naruto, being the kind hearted person that he was, decided to help the man.
"what is it you need help with?" naruto said, walking in the dark alley.
it was pitch black inside the cramped space, and the torrential downpour of the rain furthered clouded naruto's vision.
"help me..." the man said once again. naruto noted that he seemed to be in an a state of agony.
the sound of machinery intensified as naruto continued his treck forward the linear path. he grasped the wet walls for support. his jacket was drenched and he was starting to feel cold, but despite his condition, naruto decided to continue forward, inching bit by bit towards the slumped figure of the man.
"what is it you need help with?" naruto asked once again when he was in close vicinity of the man.
"..." the man replied.
naruto squinted his eyes, wiping the water that was in his eyes, before jamming a finger in his ear to clean it.
"what did you say?" naruto said.
the man started getting up, towering over the small naruto.
"i said..." the man started.
the sound of machinery picked up again. naruto stared at the strange individual before him before noticing something quite peculiar.
the man had a chainsaw.
the same chainsaw that was the murder weapon in the crime the night prior...
naruto's eyes grew big as saucers. As he was preparing to take out his gun from its holster, the man started to speak.
"Help me,"
"Help me, cuz I need skin!" the man roared lunging naruto with his chainsaw
Naruto screamed.

Naruto's body was found mutilated at the same alley the following day. His body was skinned and was missing some of its internal organs.
On the walls, a message was written in crimson, "thanks for the skin" it read,.
"poor unlucky bastard" kakashi, an elite investigator said as they warpped up naruto's remains in a plastic bag.
