Okay, so I know this sounds awkward but hear me out.
I think that K11-Naruto can defeat the Akatsuki and may be able to continue it as the original purpose
We haven't seen much, but from what I've seen, they can best the akatsuki as we knew it in before Pain killed Jiraiya.
Now think about it and read before you scream psycho and neg rep me.!
I see a lot of vs threads that label K11 a group of fodders. Allow me to prove you wrong.
Now I hope people will stop thinking Ms Sasuke or SM Naruto> the whole K11. They aren't Going to be the main stars but logically and in a debate, K11 is more likely to win than The Gokage.

- FirePower: We have Chouji, who took on the Gego Mazou, a huge feat considering that it was killing off the SA. We also have Kiba who isn't a joke when he fuses with akamaru. Then you have Sakura who undoubtedly is a major plus when you have people to occupy the target.
- CQC: Lee... Seriously no one other than Gai and possibly a Hyuga is going to best Lee in solely CQC, but when he leave it, he's screwed without his gates. You don't wanna fight hinata up close either. She isn't fodder and she is basically a female Neji with a better Byakugan and twin lion fists. No one from K11 other than Ino is going down to quick in CQC and can easily distract and occupy.
- Diversions: Tenten... Nuff said. She gets trolled a lot on the base, but smwho can focus on Taijutsu, or form handseals when deadly projectiles are raining upon you. And she normally hits her target. Unless it's one on one, she can be formidable when not taken care of. She is also the fastest kunoichi In her age group. Shino can also steal your chakra and sense you.
- Unique Abilities: This is what helped the Akatsuki a lot. K11 has many unique abilities. Sai could deal with Deidara for the most part at the same rate. Shikamaru could easily devise an ultimate plan while barely, but surely holding his own in a fight and immobilizing opponents, being a perfect counter for Hidan. Sakura has reached a form of immortality and can power up others jutsus. K11 as a group has enough wild cards to tip most battles in their favor.
- Medics: This is where K11 slaughters. Ino is an average medic but Sakura far outclasses her. With such a large group full of power, they can heal during battle. No one would go down on their watch.
- Size: Some stuff is just too big to beat. Well Tenten has a huge attack range as does Sakura and Choji. This isn't a problem.
- TeamWork: K11 has impeccable teamwork and just having InoShikaCho is a factory of complex strategies. With their unique abilities, K11 has counters to everything.
