Alright. Though you wouldn't be seen when entering the tree, I could see you landing as the water would smother the smoke, and the mist would evaporate almost instantly.
Konan quickly flies upwards, and moves forwards a few meters as she notices her opponent has been replaced with a log. She suddenly sees her opponent rush towards her and.... her opponent jumping to a tree. Obviously recognizing the one rushing her is a clone, (common sense),Konan claps her hands, releasing doton chakra in the form of a pillar. This pillar raises from the ground in between the two trees her opponent is jumping between. It reaches his foot, causing him to trip in mid air and begin to fall to the ground. Konan then once again releases doton chakra, this time below her falling opponent, causing a spike to rise up from the ground, piercing her opponent through the stomach, severely injuring and possibly killing him, most certainly knocking them out. As said person does not disperse, Konan can easily tell the oncoming enemy is a clone. Konan simply extends her arm to release a sharp piece of paper which then hits the clone, dispersing it into lightning (note, paper is super effective vs lightning).
Jutsu Used:
(Shikigami no Mai) - Dance of the Shikigami
Rank: A-rank
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 30 (-10 to sustain)
Damage points: N/A (60 if used to attack)
Description:
Using her high origami and ninjutsu skills, Konan can turn her body and clothing into many sheets of paper. She can control and reshape even parts of her body with sheets at will, making such forms as weapons for attack, streams of paper sheets to attack from a distance, butterflies or other seemingly "sentient" paper animals for spying or combat, paper airplanes for quick transport, or simply covering her enemy in sheets of paper, restricting and asphyxiating them. It was this technique that gave birth to her nickname "Angel" as she often shaped her body into sprouting 2 large wings from her back, which she used to fly and maneuver while airbourne. As her body turns to paper, she becomes very light, able to gently hover above ground on will. This paper is seemingly expendable, including parts of her body converted to paper; and how much paper she can expend depends on her chakra reserve. She can also hide explosive tags amongst her papers to add a deadly surprise to her attacks. While using this technique, Konan is virtually immune to physical damage and as long as some sheets of paper remain, she can reform, granting that she has sufficient chakra for it.
Note: While active, the user can only use paper techniques.

(Doton: Ganchūsō) - Earth Release: Stone Spikes

Description: This technique lets the user create a few rock pillars that will protrude from the ground to skew the target. The rock pillars will even pass through obstacles to reach their target if these are less dense. The pillars/spikes can be done in any earthen surface, including other earth techniques of the user.
Good game. You've used your substitution, according to time frame my tripping move goes through, and last time I checked you cant fly, so I believe I win. Releasing lightning chakra wont work because as soon as you trip, the spike comes up and pierces you, therefore you wouldnt have time.
