But why was she interested in a re-match if he wasn't a challenge? Besides, if we count female Kite, she is most likely even stronger considering she was born at the same time as the King and it's said the one who borns later is stronger, so likely stronger than even the bodyguards. Though i admit it's pretty speculative on my part here

Ant Kite should atleast be royal guard level and would have beaten Illumi with ease, most people think that Kite is another ''king'' but Kite would have been the first royal guard of the second king. The irony :heh:

That's not necessarily true unless it said somewhere the King only gets 3 royal guards. Kite ant was born at the same time as Meruem, they weren't separate births, Kite ant is Meruem's sister.

Every ant generation are brothers and sisters, they all have the same mother/queen. But ant Kite was ment to be born after Meruem. When Netero and co showed up they said that the King would be born in 2 months, they gave Gon and Killua 1 month to defeat Knuckle and Shoot. But Meruem didn't like to wait and busted out after 1 month, Meruem seems okay at that time unlike ant Kite. A month later Killua called Colt and we got to see that ant Kite was still a toddler while Meruem would have been a full grown King at that point. The royal guards serve 1 King and they are always born before the King. So its save to assume that Kite is probably the royal guard of the second King.

Read chapter 194 or better yet watch eps 83 at 3:10 to see the social structure of the ants.

Despite the difference in size I'm pretty sure we'll find out later Kite is the queen ant, Meruem was selfish as we saw by him killing his mother and forcing his birth, it's not out of possibility he took most of the nutrients while growing leaving Kite to be smaller and malnourished. Either way Kite wouldn't have been a royal guard unless it was to Meruem but you say it was meant to come after him so it couldn't be his guard.

Shit thats a hard match-up. I really can't decide and to those saying Illumi scored higher than 1/4 of the zodiacs must also note that we have no idea where Kite scores on that scale. The fact that was he able to effortlessly annihilate an entire platoon of ants with a mere swipe of his scythe shows his incredible power. But then again Illumi is also a zoldyck and one of the strongest. It can go either way but I just dont see Illumi having the offensive power to bruise Pitou as much as Kite was able to.

No the queen doesn't die after giving birth to the king. She just starts making new royal guards and kings. And the kings are the only ones who make queens. Again check out episode 83. They explain everything in 1 minute and its easier to understand than the manga version.

Illumi should win. In many instances, he was compared to Hisoka, who has his hype to be ~ Chrollo, and him wanting to fight a Zodiac. Kite, in my opinion, should be below all three listed above. I think he would most likely rank with Feitan, probably edges him a bit, or equal to him, and that's about Morel/Knov tier.

One thing that he compared Pitou's aura to Hisoka/Illumi instead of Kite.

Kite wins neg diff from feats. What's Illumi gonna do with his feats? Throw needles at him? Don't make me laugh! And what hype does Illumi have? He's a Zoldyck? Kite is top 5 nen user's protege, that's way bigger hype seing as none of the Zolydycks have been said to be in the top 5 even though they've had far more screen time than Ging. Hisoka rating Illumi is 95 is inconsequential, at was established way back at the Hunter Exams already that Hisoka has his own ranking standards that doesn't particularly coincide with any descipherable logic, they more in tune with his tastes more than anything else, not to mention he hasn't met Kite so we don't know how he would rank Kite. I dunno how a real fight between them would turn out, but by feats alone, in Kite would neg diff Illumi.

It's hard to say because illumi is near featless. Kite has more feats though so I'd probably give it to him by default.

Illumi based on nothing but hype. Kite has shown more feats though, even though that was roughly 1-2 battles against random ants and his rape from pitou.
