Kishi's horrible writing - Sakura

The reason why we don't know anything about her clan is because she was unpopular, according to Kishi.

And also because guys like me don't want to see a girl's backstory.If I had to watch a Haruno or a Hyuuga backstory instead of Uchiha I know what I will pick.Its boring and takes away from the action aspect of what is a male dominated genre

Naruto's clan was meant to be unknown because he was an orphan and we found out about them later.

I see, even so, we knew what happened to them but not exactly the story of the clan. Not that it was that relevant to the plot but I wouldn't mind knowing either since Karin and Mito and kushina were Uzumakis and the village wears its symbol.

I may not like Kishi's ending but if there is one thing I salute him for and its that despite knowing that Hinata was popular and Sakura was not he could have made his fans happy long ago by making Hinata the heroine(heck he could have saved her from IT too) and he didn't and stuck to his guns.GG Kishi

Instead he made sakura the laughing stock of team 7 by neglecting her(the dude outright said her forgot about her). In the end she never caught up to Naruto and Sasuke she stated she would, at least SP are hinata fanboys so we can expect more of her in the anime later on(not to mention the last)

The fact that we know more about Ino's clan than Sakura's is disgracful.

Actually Kishi was the one that considered Hinata being heroine, but editors rejected it.

Even if Hokages are not teachers, they help the village so it's not so surprising she accepts a student She accepted Shizune too even being world renowned. If I recall, Ino went to Tsunade too to ask if she could train medical ninjutsu too and got accepted but Im not sure if that was a filler. Now of course Sakura had the ability that fit Tsunade's type of training and type of jutsu. Being the female main character of course she would have to be more special than others and thus the fact she was accepted by Tsunade too. The other rookies all belonged to a specific clan with specific features except from Tenten who might be the only one similar to Sakura aside from the fact that she is not a main character and thus she wasn't put in a main team nor was trained by Tsunade. For a main character and for a female in a shonnen my point is that one couldn't expect that she would catch up to the two male main characters that are reincarnations and got special power-ups. She got strong enough to help heal everyone in the war and help her team as much as she could. She got strong enough to make Kakashi acknowledge her in early part 2 and for Hashirama to also value her stregth. Kishi should have developed her background, her reasons for loving Sasuke and make more fights where she would use her skills but well he didn't. I don't think she should receive this much hate because of that. Kishi just isn't good with female characters aside from a few exceptions.

I won't go in full details over this because my last post was on point and at this point it would feel like I am repeating myself. Any who I will tackle few points here.

Hokages are ment to help the village, yes. But Sakura is not the "village" she is a "villager". Now Hokage's can help a villager in multiple ways but since when was giving special training one of them? Now as for that Ino thing I would like a scan of that. Till I see it, I won't consider it canon. But lets say even if it was canon. Ino is already a part of a clan. She is already going through her own training. Not sure why would it matter if she trained with Tsunade for some days? Also canonly she has not displayed any of Tsunade jutsues. So it's sounding more like a filler to me.

I don't think anyone expected her to catch up to Naruto and Sasuke. I think we all expected her to be a far better character than what she displayed. Even girls in shonen are not as bad as Sakura. I read this excuse all the time, till I look at other shonen manga I see better chicks.

And it's happened in other shows where the character expresses his desire to catch up to the MC but it doesn't happen.I don't consider it laughable or trolling.By those standards Gohan was also made a laughing stock by Toriyama in DBZ

And what we know is actually a waste of panel space and irrelevancy at its finest so does it make a difference?If something is to be hyped up it must be relevant to the story in some way otherwise it's as good as putting fluff to inflate chapter numbers

2. Gigantic Forehead
3. Split personality
4. Uncontrollable bouts of violence
5. Slug Princess Tsunade (a Sannin) for a Master

... none of the above are what you'd call "normal".


That would be Tenten.

1. No ridiculous hair/eye colouring
2. No gigantic forehead
3. No split personality or issues with controlling her rage/anger
4. No Sannin Master

The anime has always been known to do the Naruto characters/world more justice than Kishi's so i dont see the problem. Ill take Naruto anime verse over the manga verse anyday, the Kakashi vs Obito fight is one of many reasons why.

Well I don't care if you don't find it surprising or not. Fact is Sakura was special girl, so she got trained by a legendary Sanin. She is not a normal girl. That was my point all along. And as far as benefiting the village is concerned there are plenty of ninjas out there who could benefit the village in there own way. I don't see anything special in benefiting the village by having one ninja be trained hard with her.

Every hater is different, as every lover is different. My whole point of this debate was not to literally downplay her achievements or any of that good stuff. I was only trying to point out that Sakura was never a normal girl as most of her fans thought she was. Sure she may not have had a clan of some sort but she still had plot on her side, to make her relevant enough to be considered a main character. So even as a Sakura fan if you would deny this, I would be surprised because the manga disagrees with you.

Sure.

It matters cause to me Sakura is not special because of that. She is special for being the main character and cause her ability fit Tsunade's training. Anyone could train with a Sannin and still not be able to be special like Shizune or even Anko.

I brought the shonnen aspect cause males are always more important than females in those type of mangas usually.
