Seriously if you watched Naruto lst night you would know exactly what I'm talking about. In the old show they actually fought like Ninja even Sakura did some bad ass shit last night. There were actually a variety of jutsu. It's been years and watching the show last night totally reminded me of sound jutsu. Did Kishi forget about all that stuff? This shit is turning into dragon ball z, the bijuu bomb looks like the fing death ball/ spirit bomb. Naruto and Minato are now apparently super saiyans. I know he got his inspiration from Dragon ball z, and I'm not hating or anything cause Naruto is my favorite anime, but come on this is getting ridiculous it's not even about ninjas anymore. All they do is blow shit up. In the old Naruto we saw a bunch of different cool techniques nowadays instead of thinking about new ones all he does is upgrade old ones. From Susanoo to Perfect Susanoo, don't even get me started on rasengan... Kishi forgets too easily like seriously, where the fk is Yamato?

Also shippuden introduced a buttload of jutsu varity, at the expense of getting rid of/making taijutsu useless as all hell except for gai and lee

No I don't... I don't remember anything new coming out. Besides the edo tensai which was just corny and crap. And a total disrespect towards our favorite characters deaths. The only thing about jutsu that I liked about shipuuden, was Kakashi's kamui, and the akatsuki that's about it.

Shippuden started to go downhill after the Kazekage Rescue arc IMO.

Speed, and long arms is not many new jutsu. All he did was upgrade his rasengan's. Even in sage mode I expected something bad ass but nope just a big ass rasengan.

This is one of the only manga where that entire side cast was completely forgotten. In other mangas the rookies would be given one on one fights from time to time to show case their improvements.

I know right? I made a thread about the neji and naruto thing. In part 1 Neji is talking about shit like "Naruto you're destined to be a failure and lose to me here" all of a sudden Naruto is the child of prophecy? It's as though Kishimoto hates Neji, Neji was kicking naruto's ass and Naruto won because of plot. Now don't get me wrong what Naruto did was smart, but how is it that Neji lost to one fucking uppercut? And his death too. All his life Neji knew he was gonna spend his entire life protecting Hinata and probably die doing so, Naruto comes in the picture feeding him some lies, Neji actually bought it and BAM he died protecting Hinata ironic isn't it?

i think Naruto is obn a league of its own and cannot be compared to DBZ. i like Naruto more which is the king(popularity) today. i love reading it. I hope Kishi will introduce new jutsus from the edo-hokages(since we know next ot nothing about them).
